I am going to think that this is the ending. She walked away from him and found someone who loved her enough to make her life happy again.

Likewise. He NEVER deserved her after the he so brutally humiliated her at their joke of a 'betrothal'. He should've thoroughly investigated it properly, rather than letting his jealousy control him. I would NEVER forgive such an evil act and would move on. In the real world I'm sure it would make it very difficult for her to trust any man in the future AND I'm sure she wouldn't want any kind of betrothal/wedding ceremony ever again either.

Imo, media holds such immense power, to even change the perspective of an entire society, and teach them what's good & evil. So these people, need to be careful with, what they are putting out there, for the public.
Not just straight Asian dramas, I've seen some Asian bls, and, were utterly disgusted with some of them where they promoted the whole "guy r@ping guy is love" cr*p, or, "b*llying you is ok, cause I'm confused with my feelings for you" cr*p. And then the young kids & teens in the comments were taking this as "acceptable behavior" and as "love". And they wouldn't believe the other people in the comments, when they call out the b*lly / r@pist behavior of main lead. How irresponsible for the drama team to put out content which romanticize r@pe, and b*llying.
If I was the female lead I would have said " I'm glad we never got married. Thank you very much to mock me humiliate me because I dodged a bullet. I'm extremely thankful and happy that we are not together. If I really ended up marrying you it would have been a disaster. I deserve better ...and I wish you all the pain humiliation and misery in this world. Goodbye"

I have noticed a pattern in these dramas, all the women are crazy. They fall so deeply in love with a man that they lose themself. Then he starts to abuse her mistreat her cheat on her, believe what others say about them instead of believing you. Now you have a man that has been your biggest supporter, protector and loves you and wants to give you all the best there is because he loves you more than anything and tells you how he feels and what do they do dump on the nice guy.
