Why should the Rockets keep your illogical will? Alperen deserves an extension.
it is not the same as maxey extension.... sixers didnt tank 3 years in a row and they dont have core 7 . you have core 7 why do you save cap space for all stars ?? why did you tank 3 years ? its dumb
Even Sheppard will earn double compared to Sengun for this season. I don't think it's fair for a player like Sengun. I bet he will make long-term plan with a different team if there is no new contract.
Rafael stone is one of the smartest GM in the NBA right now.If had given Jalen a rookie extension, it could means rewarding inconsistency which could backfire. Now Jalen seeing some of his rookie class get rookie extension would put more fire in his belly to play consistently. Secondly it was good decision to not give sengun rookie extension even though he deserves it, bcos such decision would psychologically demoralize Jalen and would affect his performance next season.
Why is this so hard to understand, which of the other teams have enough cap room to make a difference…plus green still need to proof his consistency…

Rockets should sell high in Jalen Green, make sense on a financial standpoint as well.
Jabari does look like a 20 and 10 guy. I think he should get more shots inside.Midrange game is solid too.
I'd like to see the Rockets wait to pay those two and maybe make a trade to give them a chance at a serious playoff run this season.
Jalen will accept if Sengun get the Max.its better.he knows his situation so he can move.

Sengun will get his max next summer. The other is up for grabs. I doubt Jalen plays well enough this season to get one. 😊

The Rockets are banking on a star becoming available next year and honestly that’s the right move if they want to go star hunting it’s best for them to wait until Jalen or Sengun to go into restricted free agency. It’s the same with what the Sixers did with Maxey.
Rockets will offer Sengun a maximum contract next year, but look what will happen then? Sengun will probably want to be with Lakers, a much more popular team, and coach JJ Redick, who admires him a lot. At this point the Rockets will just have to reap what they sow and offer maximum to the unstable Jalen Green.
If reed starts showing promise then i think jalen needs to be out of there by the trade deadline. I think any extension for him will pigeonhole the team because other teams will try to fleece us to take on his contract even though he still has potential
