Crazy how a $23000 Nissan Kicks looks better than almost every new BMW.
Bmw is lost
@@gotworcBMW is dead (on the inside)
Stfu bmw is the boss. Fuck off please don't be rude to bmw
pop some kidneys on the grille and BMW would have a good looking car here.
At this point bmw is going down in the text books as what not to do. I really think that Ferrari, Volvo and the Koreans are killing it in design nowadays.
I can’t lie though, I really like the look of the new m2
this car looks happy. there's not many cars nowadays that make you happy looking at it.
A car for people to have 'kicks' and giggles.
Agreed.
The old Kicks wasn't horrible but its design looks like a 2015-2020 vehicle, this new model finally brings it into this decade
It looks great.
Good Job Nissan!
Fun fact, if you look at the new Nissan Kicks from a straight front view, you can see that it still retains the V-motion grille. It's just integrated in a more clean fashion, in my opinion. But this new look for the front of the new Kicks is definitely Nissan's new design language moving forward.
I was so shocked about the new design coming out today and I did they did it very well! I never liked how the kicks was shaped and I’m surprised with the amount of new features they included here such as the panoramic roof and the double screens which I like
This new frontend design needs to be on the new Armada
@@ant208It Should have version of this grill
I bought a 2017 Kick for my little brother who graduated HS last year. To be honest, I thought it was very ugly 😅. But after a week I wanted one for my self. It’s quick and fast. Only on turns I feel like because of it’s lightness, it’s gonna spend out of control but it’s my feelings and opinion. I might buy this 2025 model when it come out for my wife.
Nissan nailed it. This could be mistaken for another makes design without the badges. Very clean and well thought out. Definitely needs a more powerful engine.
Nismo trim with 6spd please. Nissan needs more 'fun' and affordable cars in their lineup.
I guess it brings people to the brand if it can compete if they can keep proces in check.
Good for Nissan. This looks great. I also love the new Z. But as for everything else, Nissans look like they belong parked on a lawn next to a trampoline in a bad zip code. They have desperately needed to revitalize their designs for years.
Impressive!
Great looking entry level car but they should’ve added the Juke hybrid or E- Power engine as an option. Missed the mark.
I wouldn't be surprised that the new Kicks may get the E-Power option starting the 2026 model year for North America.
The 2025 Kicks may be replacing a lot more than just the current smaller size Kicks model. Given the increase in interior space and physical size with the new model, you wonder will this also replace the Sentra (Sylphy outside North America) sedan and the Qashqai (known until recently as the Rogue Sport in North America) crossover simultaneously.
I was definitely thinking this was repositioned now that the Rogue Sport has gone away. I think the Sentra will stick around a bit more. The Civic and Corolla are up and I think the Sentra is too for sales. They definitely picked up sales from people who would have gone for domestic sedans that no longer have that choice.
Nissan's weird design era has ended (I guess it's related to their breakup with Peugeot? or was ir Renault?). Now they're very futuristic in a good way.
It looks cute, but I wish the front hood was sloped downward more.
what will the next LEAF look like? please make a video about it
omg this might be my wife's new car. looks good
update. my wife hates it :c
it really seems like were getting the prius.
We have a 2020 SR at our house. For the price it has fantastic features far above everything else out there. Perfect for our youngest. We are up to 45k on it and changed the CVT fluid at 40k with no issues at all.
Looking good from all angles. Ground clearance over 8 inches. Bose speaker system. Rugged and big enough to be masculine and small enough to park anywhere. No electric vehicle bullshit. That’s gonna be my new car. Nissan nailed it. This is going to sell like hotcakes as it should be. Congrats Nissan. Volvo, XC4 at half the price and without the premium fuel. 👏👏👏👏
like its front. just found the area between C and D pillars too busy, and the rear a bit odd, too on the isometric view. don't like the wheels too, like Ariya's. but good that it doesn't have a rear light bar!
You should make a video on the aurus senat
Im going to try to get one maybe around october depending on if available
Nice fridge, better than some other car manufacturers
They missed the boat! They should have a epowered hybrid! Would sell insane amounts.
Great front styling not too keen on the rear though.
It's almost the size of the 2015 Qashqai. Most brands do the same, they oversize the vehicles to create a new ''compact'' model.
I really wish they would put a turbo motor in this. Especially with the AWD.
It's interesting how if you look at a current S-class or 8 series, you'll get a glimpse at what tech ecoboxes will get in the following 3-5 years.
I see the gorgeous timeless line of the DATSUN behind you and i try to make the link with this new Kicks! THIS IS A GLORIOUS CONTINUITY MADE BY NISSAN. great brands must conserve the success-path to advance. the kicks is the summary of nippon phylosophy . and it still KICKS !!!!!!!!!!!! nice suv.
Since it appears to be in a different class of vehicle now, I'm wondering if they're gonna use it as the replacement for the Rogue Sport or something
Beautiful car. 🚗
The front view looks original & awesome. But I am not so sure about the rear view though.
Whenever a car company changes their design language like this, it usually means that there is either a new CEO, or new Design Director.
You look good in those glasses.
I like the way he never mention tucson drl . The front at night it's a Hyundai Tucson point blank.
Mitsubishi x-force
U are so right. This.
@@TFSIChristmas maybe because nissan and mitsubishi has under company
@@erlanggaadhi3130 Nissan me Mitsubishi is having reliability problems here in the Philippines. I have Japanese friends who own them they are very problematic.
The grille sorta makes it look like a baby john deere combine. And I aint complaining! Those things are sick.
That lower front end “splitter” looks like a big chin. I feel like that whole piece could be removed and it’s look better.
When it comes to wheels, I always think a simple sporty 5 spoke no black nonsense design looks best. Love the 2 tone color scheme.
There's so much H/K in the design, inside and out, but I'm not mad at that. I'm seeing Korean styling adapted onto a Chevy Volt. The most random design comparison is rear 3/4 angle reminds me of the first gen Kia Rondo.
The front of the car looks like a Hyundai Tucson and the back looks like a kia Telluride.
What is the MPG for AWD?
I agree, it looks really nice! For me, the new kia sportage front end took the win for my favorite looking gas powered SUV. Anything else looks dated.
Still the Jatco CVT, Or have they improved it?
6spd auto standard.
I’m considering getting one but I’m concerned with CVT.
Should have awesome performance and reliability with a Jatco CVT.
Hmmm the orange peel paint on the trunk.
The sr version should get a more powerful hybrid set up. 175-80 ish combined power and super mpgs.. they will sell boatloads of them!
Looks great, but how the hell is Nissan still making the mistake of putting the CVT in their cars? How much decades of money did their pour into CVT production that they still haven't broken even and move on to a different transmission technology? The Pathfinder already switched away from the CVT and the Frontier was a godsend by never having a CVT in ANY of its models.
Every make uses CVTs for smaller cars. We have one in our 18 rogue with 75k miles and love it for the MPGs. If you do your regular fluid changes they technically last longer than torque converter transmission because there is nothing that wears.
It looks nice! I'd prefer it without the contrasting roof color, as I think it throws off some of the body lines.
That said, It's still a shame it's no where near as sporty and fun as the Juke it replaced. It's nice it's gone from 122 to 141 hp, but it's still a snoozefest.
Give us at least a sporty trim level that gets closer to the 188 hp in the base Juke, if not the 215 in the Juke Nismo.
People will debate over the Juke's styling (and this new Kicks ), but if you were in the market for one when Nissan cancelled it and replaced it with the Kicks, the Kicks was a huge let-down.
Well done #Nissan !!! This is best design twist Nissan has done so far. I want more advanced design and engine efficiency and reliability from Nissan
I would have never considered buying the previous generation Kicks but I'm thoroughly impressed with this new model. The Kicks was near the bottom of the segment in 2023, hopefully this new model will let Nissan rise in the ranks so to speak. As for the one available engine option, I suspect that this is going to be one of the first models to get Nissan's X-in-1 series hybrid option starting in 2026 or 2027 model year
No pictures of the S or SV trims yet, but Nissan has released the full specifications for each trim level. If you're interested here's the link usa.nissannews.com/en-US/releases/2025-nissan-kicks-press-kit?selectedTabId=release-0fecd3178a6d705b368a43209e09000a
PS: Sad news for lovers of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto such as myself, it won't be available on the base S model, this alone is worth the price of the SV trim imo which comes with the 12.9 inch display and Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
Man those wheels need a size increase and to drop slightly.
Really wonder his much it’ll go up in price!!
Side profile looks like the Fisker EV.
Fisker is dead bruh
This car was missing AWD, hopefully Nissan has improved the reliability of their CVT.
It has a six speed automatic transmission
Crazy that we’re just wiping out smaller cars/crossovers.
They nailed it with design but they failed it with rear passenger seat leg room
Its better than the Juke and Quashqui (however you spell it) but im not so sure if i like it, maybe itll grow on me
I hope it has a better CVT transmission.!
The rear looks a lot like an electric MG
Looking at the side view, it looks like it's lifted 3 inches. It makes look awkward and top heavy.
Where’s the e-power and e-force power-plants!
Style wise, Nissan was always good. However, the CVT'S let it down. I would love 6-speed manual and a Turbo 2.0 engine.
I have never heard of a Nissan Kicks.
It's the North America market replacement for the Juke which is still sold in global markets.
@@chiemekaa Miss my Juke that I put 100,000 trouble free miles on, but felt it was time to swap. Honda Hrv works well, but miss that turbo.
@@chiemekaaNo,.it is not. Kick has been an ongoing model in China, South Eastern Asia and South America.
@@Xunxunism
Thanks. I didn't realize that.
It would be nice if it were 0.5 m shorter in height
The SR with the technology package is what I'd get Red on black
It reminds me of a VW but a huge improvement than the old one
Not sure what VW. But it doesn't look like any of them that I know.
Soooooooooo I don't mean to burst yall bubble but this is already an old vehicle but it works. This was supposed to be the nissan rogue sport that they never gave us in 2021. :(.
Idk why Nissan found it so hard to put LED taillights on their cars it made all Nissan look stupid i mean who thought a $30k+ SUV with incandescent lights would be a good idea in 2023
More ground clearance than a Rock Creek Pathfinder!
😍😍🤎
Nice
Nice fresh look. Though, I think with the bump in size and weight a 2.0L isn't going to cut it. Honda did the same thing with the HR-V redesign. Another sleepy turtle that's only good for running errands in the city.
They just need to fix car and slap on a 1.5 turbo
I see some Audi A2 in the side profile (B pillar).
Now they just need to change the name.
ALMOST, hey FORGOT powered rear hatch, even Toyota Cross has that since 2023! Now if the price point is about $21,000 I can live without that power hatch!
NISSAN MASTERPIECE DESIGN
Just don't get into a front end fender bender.
Yeahnah...
looks good
e-Power is the only powertrain this should have. No turbos, CVTs, or multi speed automatics with tons of moving parts.
is it just me or this Kicks has literally copy-pasted the front and the wheels from volvo EX30 and the rear from Alfa Romeo Milano?
What's that faint banging noise in this video, dude? Really irritating. I'm wearing headphones and can hear it
Don't get to excited.
more nissan cvt drama. tablet screen trend is overused at this moment of time.
They need to ditch the CVT, it’s going to put them out of business if they don’t improve them like Honda and Toyota did with their CVTs.
I guess Nissan is incompetent then? Just because they won’t fix their CVTs?
@@faheemabbas3965 I believe that CVT reliability at Nissan has improved a lot since 2019. The current CVT's from JATCO seem to be reasonably reliable.
this was surprising! and wow honestly! this design looks great! makes me look forward to their future line up! honestly impressive! the juke DIED in north america so that the KICK can SOAR! just wish the engine was better..... still really weak engine , will be a great city car.... to putt putt around but meh the engine is the biggest downside imo
If they do not throw everything at it the Chinese are ready to take the entry level legacy cat makers. Particularly in non-OECD markets
Its KIA Seltos.
Really makes you wonder what they can do with the Rogue, cause I haven’t been all too impressed with the styling or the CVT.
The Rogue is all show but no go. Reminds me of entries from Kia and Hyundai.
@@krane15 Once they improved the engine, it was a lot better than the initial entry. Overall, it gets great mpg, the seats are super comfy, lots of tech, minimal gloss, etc. The front end chrome, lack of full LED (rear), and CVTs in general having issues was the main issue for me. Rather go Honda or KIA, or Mazda.
It looks cool but it doesn’t really look like a Nissan
Nissans have looked meh lately, so that's not really a problem 😂
@@chrisshakal5904Nissan lineup looks better than Toyota and Honda lineup
@@RomanM803but a dying company🤗, you pay more for design and results are worse (reliability issues aswell) like modern Nissans always like before, being uglier. Nothing new. I rather drive a Lada.
@@TFSIChristmasladas are nothing compared to Nissan
@@TFSIChristmas uglier would be Honda and Toyota is just boring or trying to hard. There’s nothing wrong with modern day Nissan rouge pathfinder maxima Altima Sentra Z are decent cars yes they need improvement but let’s be honest Hyundai and Kia are both better than all 3 of them. Even there luxury division makes better luxury cars.
It’s a CVT😬
Nissan Nailed it with unreliability
Kinda hope my gf gets this
B. E. A. U. T.
Still have that crappy cvt.
Nissan rise back
A gorgeous new design! But it will inevitably be let down by the powertrain.
Nissan in the past has made some gorgeous cars. Since the 2000 in my opinion Nissan has been making some of the ugliest cars on the road. Yes, even the 370Z and the GTR r35. I’m just not a fan. I’m so glad to see them going back to their roots!
Looks like something Kia would make
Improvement over old but still not that good Japanese cars may be reliable but the Japanese seem to be incapable of making a car look good
I looks very ugly in my opinion
Totally
Not ugly, but certainly not head turning to me.
@@krane15 nah it is ugly , the right word
