Indris-M was sold for 1000$, Indris-P is 1500$.
Past CIG have said they value Idris-M to be 2500$ and that was years before this version.

there isn't much difference between the two, 890 is 205m in length and idris is 240, the Benghal is almost 1km tho

@@immrdI haven't played the game, but I have heard that they've spent much of their development time lately designing software for the servers to allow a much larger load of players.
From what I understand, improvements in computing over the course of development made new configurations of servers possible which could dramatically improve performance. Even if the game never properly gets off the ground this type of improvement may be used in other MMOs, which is reason enough for me to be happy. Especially because I didn't pay anything.
If the game does ever get to a finished state I might pay for the game, but I'm not spending a massive sum.

But if you watched the video, it said Idris-M. You CANNOT buy an Idris-M standalone anymore. Unless you’re ready to shell out 15 grand, the -M is only available later in game.

It's kinda sad how people dont realise that its best for CIG to test this now and have it be unstable now. Imagine they gave us this kinda quality when they game actually released! Im perfectly ok that i didnt get a chance at it or that the event was kinda scuffed! I have faith in CIG that these events will only get better!!

Its also kind of sad how since 2012 we still don't have playable game, only bare bones Alpha. Yea we get a taste of what it could be and its cool, but that's all we get right now...a taste. And still don't know in what state Squadron 42 will launch sometime next year or so.
If they really want to test it this shouldn't have been very rare and exclusive event. But yea as long as money flows (and they clearly don't have problem with that) they can test it as long as they want.👍🏻

I was upset with myself when I bought the Constellation Andromeda. This, on the other hand, would be awesome to have if you and your buddies pitched in or a gaming community to use for events.

If I dropped 1,500 dollars on an in game item that shit better be so irrevocably tied to my account that nobody can take it from me.
You can still buy them. They are available in concierge packs that you have to spend at least $1000 on Star Citizen pledges to see the package, but I'm told you can still buy the Idris-K, Idris-M and Idris-P. Oh, sometimes there are special, limited sales of them in November.

So I fought one of these this morning. The pilot glitched his way into the cockpit and it had npc turret gunners and the pilot had his 6 teammates in hornets and other fighters. There was 19 of us in deadbolt Corsairs and our own hornets as well f8c heavy fighters and a few Conny's and a few infernos.....we didn't stand a fucking chance against it. And we didn't go and fight one at a time no we had all our pilots in one place and we tried focusing on the fighters first and we still got absolutely destroyed. I'm genuinely afraid for when this is in players hands. One fully crewed idris will be able to completely hold down rappel or pickers and unless you have a few eclipses you won't be doing shit against this monster. I mean a barely functioning stolen idris was wrecking us imagine a fully functional and crewed idris....

for those arguing who would spend 1500 for the ship. Most people in SC liquidate other ships in order to buy this for cheaper think trading in your car and can end up with the ship for far less than full price
Amazing this goes hard, The real Star Citizens understand the CCU system so getting one of these isn't as expensive as people whine and complain it out to be. built up a fleet since 2015 to around 2500 spent total (Stopped playing WoW so that saved 1600 in subs over 9 years right there) , melted part of it down and got an idris for $50 that day out of pocket. You don't have to sit there dropping benjamins on ships all at once like people seem to think happens. Polaris is coming later this year and im excited to add the Apollo as well.

Idris has probably by far the nicest hangar setup tho. Can fit like 3-4 fighters and it’s a fly through so you just fly straight in land to rearm / refuel whatever and fly straight out

Most people probably didn’t just drop $1500 dollars at one time on it. Chances are they had bought a ton of cheaper, smaller ships to use and cashed them all in for credit towards the big one. I have a $400 ship that I sold 4 smaller ones to get. I started buying small ones again. It builds up quickly.
Everything said in this short was completely incorrect. The poster clearly doesn't know much about SC
They need to fix the bugs first and then cut down on the bloated prompts for actions. There are just way too many unnecessary prompts. While I understand that they are trying to make it realistic, but simple things like to drink water you have to remove your helmet. ummm...why? It's a waste of an action and code that isn't needed. The game is advanced enough that Walking and running should feel that way. Instead, it just feels like I'm floating around. Simple fixes and prompt deletions would make this game far smoother. And the subway doesn't even stay on track. It bugs out terribly. Needs a massive UI overhaul as well.

To be honest, no I wouldn't fight for this. Much like the F8C lightning platinum tickets, I didn't see a real reason for me to get one of those - I was content with a day rental. It wasn't a good fit for me. Not much of a dogfighter, nor part of an organization.

@boraxxs8221 it is actually, and it does have an interior like the Idris. It was the tour ship for Invictus a few years ago, where it would fly between the Orbitals, dock, and let you walk around inside. It also helped you defeat an Idris in the first iteration of the Xenothreat storyline.
