RIP Charlie Watts. The world lost a great musician❤️ This is an ‘essential’ Rolling Stones song. Saw them at MSG in 1998, they far exceeded my expectations, which were very high already
They do put on a great live show. I saw them back in '81. Absolutely fabulous!

@@funfact8660 If you knew the Ramones you would have never said that, but yeah, I'm from that works and guess what? This was definitely *THE* band of the playing real rock bands. The boomers who don't actually like Rock music will say some bullshit but the real rockers, everytime, will tell you the truth. I'm not interested in making some dumb fucking list because I actually *DO* know what the difference is. The list would be long and incomprehensible. But the Stones were an archetype we all used in American Rock and Roll after they did what they did. It's absurd to define Rock and Roll by songwriting and pop jingles to take the truth out of *THE ROLLING STONES* hands. If you love them you know what the other important bands were anyway so it's dumb to mention them. But I say it this way because for half of Rock to this day it was The Rolling Stones. My favorite band...and when I first heard them I hated them. Heh.
Never get tired of seeing this, I've seen them live 5 times , and this is always the number that steals the show.
Saw them 1989 during Steel Wheels the greatest concert my eyes ever saw and ever will…epic. I can still see Mick and Lisa belting out one of the greatest songs ever written.
Nobody can even come close to this performance.!!

I grew up watching this concert on the Four Flicks DVD many times. Seeing unreleased tracks is so weird because I know it in a certain way, but that's good because it's so cool to see new footage.

Got the bootleg of this full Mad Sq Gdn show way back, played Gimme Shelter every day and hoped it would one day come out on Blu ray and here we are June 2022 not long to go now, by a country mile my favourite live version ever, just begs the question why oh why was it left off the Flicks box set in the first place, anyway a fitting tribute to the late great Charlie Watts RIP
