My Third LEGO® Ninjago City Extension: C.J. Tonic's Ninjago City Karaoke Bar - CJT WOB#04

I have been loving the LEGO® Ninjago City and Ninjago City Docks sets so much that I had to build some extensions to the line. Especially since I am hoping that there will be another official set soon to complete my setup - the Ninjago City Gardens.

As you might notice I have included designs from two official sets in my creation: 10260 Downtown Diner and 70422 Shrimp Shack Attack.

I really like the idea of converting Modulars into ninjago city parts
one of the best (if not the best) Ninjago MOC I have seen to date. Alot of things are happening they way they should in this set! Even though Ninja-go has a haphazard look, too much randomness just looks chaotic, this doesn't. The 3 story window and door element borrowed from the diner modular accompanied by the large white horizontal awning anchors the composition while allowing the random colored buildings and structures to grow off of that. The continuous azure structure supporting the 2nd story element further unifies and enhances the build. Everything makes sense visually and structurally, while still remaining very true to
I would argue this is better than the original Ninjago city. My critique of that set is the top sand-green high rise just sorta appears out of nowhere, there is nothing about it that ties it to the other buildings. This build integrates everything and gives the appearance that all the structure needed to support the upper level building is resolved.

1:16 - Could maybe put Karaoke in the ninjago language? (If its four letters maybe even simplified as 'Sing') just to incorporate more into Ninjago city!
Good ideas. Back then I decided to put Karaoke in Japanese just because it looked better on the pink sign ;-)
wirklich gut gelungen, ich hatte es auf der Schwabenstein 2022 abgefilmt, leider war die Datei defekt. Hoffe ich bekomme nochmal die Gelegenheit ;). VG
