- Totally forgot to show the Pierced Butterfly at the end, it should have been at 56% (it was at 48% before Styx then we cleared 4 large chambers without getting hit).

This is why i really want some kind of unlimited chambers/tower thingy, because everytime the stars aligned and you got every boons you want, the game just end :(
@@ayoCC you still get your reward from every chamber as usual, but instead as having hades as the final boss and the run ending, it continues on
So the challenge would be instead of how fast you can complete the game it's how far can you go

I'm super scared for Hades.
My take on a good change to the thanatos encounter is to make it possible only if you lost a death defiance. It gives some control over it to the player while not removing the encounter entirely because it is important for his story. I also think it is thematic in the sense that we defied death and so "death" comes to investigate.

Zeus + Poseidon on shield was the build I was running the first time I beat Hades. I thought it was busted enough with Pulverizing Blow, but this is on a whole different level.

edit: btw, I wouldn't count out Lightning Rod. You had great synergy going for it. Just throw those casts out and deal extra damage to the boss. Not to mention the lightning strike boons you got makes it even better once they are dislodged.

I would have loved to see support fire on this, even if it isn't that good, just all the extra bolts would have been insane
I personally prefer to avoid chain shot with the Chiron bow. You can't really control where your Chiron mark goes (not that it matters when you're this OP).
This really might be the strongest build I have seen, especially since bolts can crit now

Why are Poseidon’s boons so freaking awesome?! (In my opinion) homing special attack for the bow, a killer uppercut for the gloves, and don’t even get me started on his call. The God of the Seas is a mighty force indeed.

I just today did a run where i got pretty much the same setup (Chiron bow, poseidon special, seastorm etc) but the damage of my lightning bolts were significantly lower, was it some sort of patch or did it just bugged out? Was like 10 per lightning bolt
Hmm not sure... Seastorm should hit for at least 40 every time. Maybe bugged?

There he is getting a duo boon at the first miniboss. And then there's me wasting like 10 re-rolls to even get a decent attack boon somewhere at the end of elysium ;_;
Is it possible to skip solo minotaur in a similar way what you did to hydra? And would he then appear again or not, at the end?
I've seen someone do it once but he still appears in the heroes fight after anyway.

Sure! You can restart a run you're doing any time by choosing Give Up from the main menu. You'll start with the same boon/hammer in the first room, thus you're practicing the same seed. If you wanted, you could then copy your save file to hold onto the particular seed.

That mod might be out of date at this point, I just go to the Hades directory and copy the file manually.

Yup! Just make a copy of a savefile and you can use it whenever you want.

hi, i started playing recently. I do not understand something, is it possible to choose an ability that cancels another ability that you already have? for example give your special hit 2 abilities and one is canceled?
It will say if the ability will replace another boon. If it does not say then they will stack.
Some times you can replace a boon with another but you cannot get more than one boon for the same slot (i.e. special).
Question: " If I equipped Pierced Butterfly from the first Tartarus then changed it before Elysium, would I still be able to keep the damage bonus?"

does double strike work with splitting bolt?
I think Double Strike only works with "bolts," meaning lightning from Jolted, the Dash and the Call. Maybe Seastorm too?

Just copy the savefile before you fully complete the run (exit the last door), that way you can open it up and choose Give Up to try it over again.

How do you see/save seeds?
Hades doesn't have a true seed system unfortunately, all we can do is copy the savefile when you find a nice start and then choose Give Up to try it over and over.

Why does he pause so much?
It pauses the in game timer so he can think about what he has to do without taking up time
So each special arrow causes knockback, which causes three lightning strikes, then knockback again so another three lightning strikes, razor shoals bump knockback damage as well, AND you got the hammer for extra special arrows. 11 arrows per volley (7+4) equals 22 knockbacks and 66 lightning strikes.
