What’s the movie Transformers: Dark of the Moon about?
Optimus Prime, the Autobots and Sam Witwicky (Shia Labeouf) are back in the third movie of the famous franchise from director Michael Bay : Transformers.
Two years after the Egypt incident, the Autobots and their human allies discover a piece of Cybertronian technology which is part of an Autobot spacecraft that crashed on the moon. After bringing back the body of Sentinel Prime and reviving it, they learn that with this new discovery come new threats for the Earth and humankind.
They will have to start once more a war with the Decepticons to prevent them from trying to enslave humanity and bring all Cybertron on Earth.

I still get goosebumps with that Optimus Prime entrance, cutting decepticons like butter. I remember laughing my a** in my childhood as well because Shockwave was being portrayed as this immovable object as if it'd be the MVP of the decepticons in that movie and then Optimus literally one-shots him.

That tomahawk scene with the missles always puts a smile on my face.
Dont get me wrong i loved this entire movie, especially when the autobots and military just start running into battle together fighting side by side.
But that missle scene and the autobots fighting, it was just pure hype.

In the lore Megatron and Optimus used to fight side by side... Just imagining how much damage these two alone could do... If they fought side by side...

I know it’s debatable wether the Forest Battle or this are the best fight, but this one is my favorite. It’s like Optimus said in TLK, with a few souls being heroes, while in the Forest Battle, it was just him.

It’s like they expect a story with alien robots mixing with our species to be simple. If they just analyze it a little more, they can understand what’s going on. Same goes for with the story.

I know that shockwave was disrespected in the Bayverse, but if you watched it as a kid you can't deny you were going ham when that (plus the music) happened
This movie was by far the best cinematic experience and the most epic film I have ever seen in IMAX 3D when it came out.. everything felt REAL

Unlike the majority I like that people are involved, the soldiers and Sam charging in the front, the soldiers jumping fearlessly on the shockwave and the other soldiers fearlessly shooting at him and Cade Yeager's attacking lockdown with a an alien gun in the foruth movie. This is what i don't see the other tf animations or movies.

The decepticons have a great numbers, some of them are baddest of all like Shockwave, and yet they're unable to hold the few Autobots at bay, one of whom is a Prime. I wonder why is that. Is that because majority of them are protoforms without the durable armor or that they're inexperienced newbies?

I can see why an autobot protoform which is a random soldier just like the decepticon one’s are not involved in both Transformers 1 and 2 which I believe it is due to not enough money from Michael Bay to invest for it and I’m sorry to hear that.
