How could cher not be impressed with this masterpiece? His voice is absolutely amazing
The one thing I'll add is that your emotional state can have an enormous effect on vocal performing... so think about the fact that he's performing one of the biggest hits from one of the biggest performers of the last century - live, in front of her! Just handling the emotional side of that is a big deal; and then to top it off with a flawless performance (which is extremely hard to do live). A real freaking vocal masterpiece if you ask me (which is why I recommended it :P)
So true. And, this is the same man who, fearlessly stepped into the frontman position of the legendary band Queen, effectively bringing them back to life while honoring the legacy of Freddie Mercury with his own style. I've seen Adam live many times, and let me tell you, there is nobody like him. His vocals are other worldly and his stage presence, larger than life.
He was also jet lagged performing this. He'd just flew in from wherever Queen was performing at.
Extra context too! Believe was also the first song he’s said he heard on the radio while driving alone at 18yrs old straight after coming out to his family & parents, so he’s said it has so much emotional weight tied to it for him, as well as the fact he had just gotten off a long haul flight from the other side of the world about an hour before this performance so he was exhausted & you can actually see his hands shaking around the bridge in the video- i just love him so much, amazing

I thought it was beautiful 💕 but on Instagram a slew of " voice coaches" claimed he was out of pitch and attacked the performance! Sorry but 20 millions ppl disagree with them..
I hope that these "voice coaches" do not get paid for their services when they are not able to recognize a deliberate change of pitch. Without this change, the original composition could not be rearranged into a lyrical ballad.

Speaking of Cher ... You might want to listen to an amazing young Russian singer. Diana Ankudinova is 15 years old in this video, singing a cover of Chris Isaak's Wicked Game, giving it a more "tribal" sound. She's a contralto, even at the age of 15, has a unique and otherworldly voice, and a commanding stage presence.
She is performing on the Russian TV show You Are Super, a show for disadvantaged children to display their talents that they otherwise would not be able to.
Diana (dee-ah-na) was abandoned by her abusive mother at the age 3 and placed in an orphanage, diagnosed with cognitive impairment. Her adoptive mother had her enroll in singing lessons to help with some speech problems due to abuse and neglect. Her singing talent was immediately noticed and the rest, as they say, is history.

What are you talking about? He was never on AGT. And Simon never wanted to turn away Adam when he was on Idol. He said yes on his audition and became one of his biggest supporters.

There was a clip of a longer discussion regarding Adam's audition that was on CZcams. Simon clearly was having a bad day.
I will search for that clip. I'm not the only one that saw it. It's out there.
They did patch things up to a degree at least but before that there was more than that one issue.

Just how many of these "professional singing coaches" need to "react" to this performance already! Yes, the guy can sing... we all know that... move on already! We all listened to it without having the need to "react" to it on CZcams... now everyone else listen to it on your own, too! We don't all care what you think. We all have 2 ears & can hear him sing for ourselves!
