Part 1 Backpacking from Two Medicine to the gorgeous Cobalt Lake in Glacier National Park!

- Our hike to the magnificent Colbalt Lake!!!
We started our 3-night backpacking trip from Two Medicine Lake trailhead. Our destination is Colbalt Lake for one night and then onto Two Medicine Pass and down to Isabel Lake the next day. This area is absolutely the most beautiful hike we have ever done. Colbalt Lake is a gorgeous alpine lake and is a sight to behold! The fall foliage was on fire! The wind is crazy up there and it sounded like a hurricane up on the pass which was quite scary in the middle of the night! Glacier National Park is heaven on earth! Bear country and Grizzly bears were on our minds the whole time, but we never saw any signs of bears on the trail or at the campground. We did see a moose from afar in a pond which was cool.
Scenic views, tons of wildflowers and Rockwell Falls was beautiful also!
The hike up to Colbalt lake is so so beautiful with the yellow and golds! Wish we could have had a better view of the moose cause they love that trail too but not the days we were there! Bummer!

Awesome, awesome, awesome, so beautiful, so proud of all three of you, but KAREN, my baby sister, girl, no words. Jeff said we gotta go do this, I said I have to go with you guys, if you can do it, I would do it, but not by ourselves. Lasagna?? I'm picking the menu, I know you gotta travel light but would love a big juicy hamburger the first night, I would figure it out somehow. LOL Can't wait to see day 2.
