this reminded me of one of my favourite descriptions of Fallout 4 from Steam 😂 someone wrote "an old lady with a drug addiction told me to build a chair for her. I build her a chair and she immediately sat down next to it, on nothing. She's just sitting in the air, still asking me to build her a damn chair" and I just about lost it laughing
I just built a closet in sanctuary put her chair in it, so when she ODs I just shut the door and walk away.

I always forget Mama Murphy's concept art is actually pretty neat. Shame they didn't keep to it, and instead just went with a woman that honestly looks more like a zombie at times than the feral ghouls do.

Mama Murphy is absolutely amazing in lore. She used to lead a gang and was always able to use the sight in order to stay one step ahead until she got so old she pretty much got dementia. She was pretty merciless but well respected from what I remember. Theres a terminal in that factory you go into early that tells you all about her and why the raiders were after the minutemen.

The answer to the caps thing is simple, build water purifiers in that settlement and then take the water and sell it use the money to buy more parts to build more water purifiers you can get several hundred water from sanctuary and while the spawning method for this is unclear to me I do know that if you sleep for 24 hours then wait for 5 minutes it will be in the settlement inventory. You can then pick it up from the settlement inventory and if it is too heavy drop it on the ground and have your companion pick it up. They can hold infinite amounts if they pick it off the ground. with a few hundred water bottles you can pretty much clear out everyone's caps at diamond city even if you have 1 charisma.

I find it weird how when you meet any drug user in fallout they are a massive addict and they are a monster but when you do a bit too much jet you get a minor debuff and it can be cured with Addictol instantly which cost like 125 caps.
