Platter was gorgeous. We always had trout when I was younger (Friday=Fish day, and we’re not Catholic but that was very common). I liked trout because it didn’t taste fishy to me. Lol. I appear to be out numbered here

Great information about the markings being similar, but if different in font or color, they are from different years made. And the difference between coffee cups and teacups. I loved your story about fishing with your dad. You can tell it brought back memories for you. 😊❤️

My Teacher, Dr. Lori!!!! I am one of your newer “students” and I’m so grateful you provide this platform for us. I hope to one day gather the courage to video in on your Live ☺️ I get so nervous!! Anyways, do you ever venture to Las Vegas? I live here now, but I’m an east coaster at heart like you! (Hi western mass👋🏼) and we fished for rainbow trout my whole childhood!!
Hope to be able to see you in person in Las Vegas one day!! 🖤

Lol dad's little girl. I was a only child NEVER spoiled work just a boy never was allowed a doll because he told me to go to my friends and play with her dolls that's when I found out I like trains and trucks instead..but I know how to fish yes they are Rainbows. My first fish was caught in a river and it was a carp!! Bottom feeder. Little did I know I'd be married to one.. Garden food. Second one was a DOLLY. so that was the doll I got . Dolly varden trout. .and up here in CANADA I did a ton of ice fishing with no tent way up in the mountains were a truck could not go but only snowmobiles. I be out there from 6 am until dusk! Then took the mobiles back through 7 feet of snow for 2 hour ride to the truck. Yup a real country girl. Can't do that now. Lol

We use to put fsh in vinegar and water for 10 minutes to get rid of slime then we scale it gut it and clean it out inside. Fry it on a cast iron frying pan slowly. Salt and pepper. .yum butter makes it taste great. not high heat put lid on and put a couple tablespoon of water let it steam for ten minutes..take lid off and turn fish add a little water again steam fish for another ten minutes. Perfect!! Too high will burn water..or easier just boil fish in hot water. Covered with water..boil lightly for same time. Put about 1 tsp of salt in big fry pan ..just a different taste. Melt butter and lemon and drizzle on fish when on plate. Simple simple. Lol I like quick and easy. Test with fork meat should fall apart. Trial and error lol
