NOTE
According to recent news articles, the Fizzics company is seemingly in the midst of a chapter 11 bankruptcy. They are still selling the products on their website but we could find no disclosure of internal company goings ons and how that affects a potential consumer and our emails to them regarding these issues have gone unanswered. It's for this reason that we don't rate the system quite as highly now as we did in this video. Buying the system without known support or future parts availability/repairs is questionable. We still think if you can get a good deal on the system that it's a worthy purchase.
Big thanks to Alex to Go for bringing this to our attention.*

Before lockdown: “$130? No way!”
After lockdown: “$130? For sure!” Lol
Haha, right? What else is there to do but day drink in your underwear? 🤣
Just got my Fizzics and I LOVE it! Just by doing a simple taste test myself, comparing a local beer out of the can vs the fizzics, the taste and flavor is drastically different. I really recommend it for avid beer drinkers that love the fresh out of tap experience
I am genuinely surprised by the results of this review. When you posted this to Facebook, my initial thought was a gimmick. Also, $120 price point is well worth it to me. That also surprised me, I was expecting some obnoxious price tag. Fantastic review!
Roscoe Van Damme Definitely surprising, we thought the same at first! We think the real value lies with the older generation, unless of course you plan on using the device a lot and experimenting with a bunch of different beers over the course of its stay with you. Cheers, thanks for the view!
they just filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy.
Oof, just googled it and saw the articles. That stinks, it was a decent idea for sure. Much better than the scam that was the Growler Chill. Still mad I’ll likely never see that $500 investment come to fruition..
Thanks for the review. I have been looking at the perfect draft machines but they are fetching silly money. This is perfect for me. Cheers.
It’s probably a good band-aid for you, then! It’s not without its oddities, but it’s a pretty cool machine for not a lot of dough at the end of the day. Worth a look. Cheers, keep it crafty!🍻
Interesting. Hmm. 😮 it soothed out that ipa..... this really
Got me thinking of all the 💩 🍺 I have had out of the can that were really good on tap.
Please assist, what is the maximum height of bottle that would fit into Fizzics unit?
Will it accept different tap handles
Hello quick question what is the beer you used for this example? Thank you in advance
IPA first (Founders All Day Session IPA) and a barrel aged stout (Fairwinds Ghost of the Mariner) second.
Question?
What’s the difference between a c02 keg and the fuzzies?
The Fizzics doesn’t use any sort of external carbonation, it’s really just agitation that produces the end result. A c02 keg is injected with actual c02 producing carbonation. Typically this occurs at bottling or before. If one were to add additional carbonation to an existing, finished beer, it would probably be pretty undrinkable.
I need!
Far as I’m aware, they’re still on the market. Let us know if you grab one and what you think though!
Did it eat the first can you placed in it 😅👍
They never answered this. I assume it didn't work well and they had to reshoot.
Hah, I swore I wrote something witty in response to this a year ago but I guess not ☹️ It may as well have, it’s really not designed for tiny 12oz’ers admittedly.
Hi, my name is Rafael and I'm from Brazil.
I met your products on the internet, and I was interested in Fizzics Draftpour, but before buying I want to know if it contains bottles of beer with the following measures:
1 Liter - Width 8,2cm X Height 29cm
600ml - Width 7,0cm X Height 24cm
These sizes are from Brazil.
I'm waiting to buy Fizzics Draftpour if it bears the sizes above.
Many thanks and success.
Hi Rafael, greetings! While we don't create the Fizzics directly, we can say that it's pretty cool.
The Fizzics system will fit a 600ml bottle with the dimensions you state. It will actually fit up to a standard 750ml wine bottle. However since we don't get 1L beer bottles here in the US, I'm not sure about the fitment of those unfortunately!
For larger bottles, we recommend looking at the previous versions that accommodate growlers/howlers better. THAT system will likely fit a 1L bottle no issues as it's designed for US32/US64oz glass vessels. Cheers!
Respectfully, I don't understand. I just watched a 10 minute video about the product but I still don't know how it works. It appears to be just a water pump for $130??? It pumps the beer from the bottle to the glass? Is that it? Why is that any different from pouring it myself? Is there something happening between the tube in the beer and the beer coming out of the tap? It has the "back" position which appears to aerate the beer some for a head but is that it? I'm confused at what problem this product solves.
Does the head stay longer like a beer from a real tap? Great review thx
The Fizzics doesn’t increase head retention any more than the beers’ chemistry allows. It dies down after awhile just as I’d you poured it from a bottle/can.
Do you have a Fizzics system? What do you think about it?
I had the previous Waytap version and it didn't work very well as pushing the pour handle did nothing. Countless backers on Kickstarter (where the unit was launched and ultimately funded) said that it would be best if it had some sort of mains power and wasn't just limited to battery power (which it just ate through in no time by the way) and also that it should take bigger bottles.
Well it looks like the finally bothered to take that feedback on board. I've decided to give it another shot and hope it's better made than the last one.
I think they definitely listened to feedback judging by the changes made to this version. While a little pricey, we think it’s an interesting addition to the beer accessory market. Ours is still kicking strong! Cheers!
@@jacktorrance3522 Did you find the Draft pour better than the waytap? Did you end up getting it? I'm thinking of buying a draft pour. Cheers.
The guy who invented this opened a Brewery in the Central Jersey area called source brewing. Their beers are insane. Mostly New England style, hazy brews, doubles and imperial IPAs. Release 16K cans every Friday and sell out within minutes.
We...might need to check that out, thank you for the insight! Do they ship right now?
How do you clean it?
@8:05 - warm water.
Do they use co2 mini tank
No Co2 required, plug and play
Do you have to put the head on it for it to taste like draft
No, not necessarily. It’ll still have a bit different texture even if you don’t add the head. However, I would definitely recommend doing so for brews such as stouts, because it just adds that extra level of complexity.
Please only let the lady pour. She knows her away around the device.
I had zero interaction with this device before filming this. My wife researched, ordered AND used it before I even knew it arrived. Apologies that you didn’t find my first-timer approach entertaining.
@@BrewReview lol
For Brazil just use antartica Lata
It is absolutely fantastic taste, it really taste like draught beer.....until the third beer as that was when the pump already stopped working and I could throw away the whole thing, shame I really liked it.
Had my fizzics two years without an issue. You got a lemon
Ours is still going strong. We don’t use it every day, but it definitely comes in handy sometimes. We always power ours off of an external source, not batteries. I agree with Kevin OR, sounded like a defective unit.
Why would you be drinking all kinds of different beer though
🤣😭 the claw
Haha, while I was editing this that popped up in my head and I just HAD to put it in there 😅
Old Ox!!!!
Cory Emery Yessir, a local staple!
The biggest problem for Fizzics in my opinion is the standard of Brazilian bottles ... which are different from American ones.
Here in Brazil it goes well with 350 ml ... 473 ml..long neck ..
It does not go to 600 ml..litrão.
Another thing ... Brahma and Antactica in this beer cooler was terrible (they are already horrible beer .. besides having chemistry and corn juice)
Another. You have to use quality batteries (And it usually gives bad contact in the batteries).
Another one. And I would like to know who has it ... to be able to get it to pull all the beer out of the bottle..because it usually leaves beer in the bottle..if anyone can solve this..please tell me how to do it.
Regarding batteries ... you can make an adaptation with a source.with claws (connecting all terminals) to save on batteries.
Beer that I tasted with fizzics and that I thought were good.
Bohemia..Imperio (that has some chemistry).
Avoid losing something from it ... because if it gets lost or broken it is almost certain that you will not get spare parts .. mainly in Brazil. And more. In Brazil it seems that we have a representative of the brand ... but it does not sell accessories for it ... besides being expensive.
I am trying to get a 1000ml aluminum bottle..that suits Chopeira Fizzics..who did it..and you can inform me of this already thanks.
A little difficult to answer so many points. As far as batteries are concerned, a set of 2 Eneloop rechargeables usually last about a month in this thing. Haven’t had poor contact issues, personally..
Sizing: we’ve been able to fit long necks in this no issue. As stated, anything up to a growler will pretty much fit fine.
As for beer left in the bottle - that’s the nature of a tube sucking liquid up, there will invariably be some leftover, but it’s usually not a whole ton.
Regarding replacement parts - it’s a cheap plastic build and comes with a warranty that’s pretty standard. As with most consumer products these days, it’s not built to survive a nuclear winter so don’t expect that. However ours is still working years later so 🤷🏼♂️ I guess that’s a personal gripe that you have to wrestle with yourself to make a determination as to whether it’s worth your money. Hope that answers some of your questions!

Thank you very much for your attention.Stay with God in the Peace of Christ and in the Love of Mary.
FAIRWINDS!!!!
Long live Casey, cheers! 🍻
Since the company filed bankrupts, why are they still selling them, I didn't know this before I ordered one, which isn't working from day one, I was setting it up with warm water to clean for first use, and it does nothing, I am truly dissatisfy and would like another or my money back...
Bankruptcy for a company can mean many things other than “going under”. Perhaps they are restructuring or shifting focus. My thought is that they sold to another holdings corporation and they decided to continue the brand and products, but that’s sheer speculation🤷🏼♂️
She definitely knows more than the dude. Do your homework before doing a video. Use two glasses to compare. 🙄 any failure was his.
Thanks for watching. And you’re right, I do know less than my wife about the machine that does the things and stuff. Guess I should just give up while I’m ahead! Chill, it’s a silly beer machine. I don't think there was any 'failure', It's just beer and it tasted great.
Cheers not for me .
Totally understand. Not everything IS for everyone and that variety is the spice of life.
I feel like the should do just 1 solid pour rather than splitting it between two glasses
Next time we'll consider it
If you like foam better than beer. Pointless product!
You can control the amount of ‘foam’ you get out of it. We rather enjoy it, to each their own though.
@@BrewReview what about the taste of beer? Is it different from the original source or the system just add more "foam"
The system doesn’t really affect the taste, it merely changes the mouthfeel more than anything. With IPA’s, it seems to “smooth” them out a bit more if you put a more bitey west coast through it though.
Too much hard work, just get a Phillips perfect draft or a blade! 🤷
Junk...
To each their own, certainly.
Company went bankrupt
We're not able to find any information to corroborate the company going under. Can you provide a link for further investigation? Thanks!
@@clintonmccool2330 Are you shitting me? I just ordered the DraftPour a few days ago. Now I need to check if I'll even get one sent to me.
Oddly, they seem to STILL be selling these on their website so..even with the news of the bankruptcy, we still aren't certain what's going on there.
Even though we liked the system well enough, we can't recommend it in good faith due to somewhat shaky ground the company is on.
Lmao
Too bad you don’t know how to pour a beer properly
Too bad you don’t have any content we can mock.
This machine is garbage
🤷🏼♂️ Ours works fine
I use mine as a red wine aerator. I'm not a wine connoisseur but I love it. 🤌🏿
Cheers, Julie! That's actually an unexpected and genius use case for this thing that we didn't even think about when we gave it a go. Might be a Thanksgiving treat to break it out again!
