the Graco Handheld airless paint sprayer is amazing it's one of my favourite tools. very gratifying to use. Also I like that it uses DeWalt battery system so I'm welcomed back into the DeWalt range.

The machine is the best for cut outs when u Paint and you roll in the center with an 14 to 18 inches roller you won't regret it
Looks like straining your paint is key to keeping this little handheld sprayer going. How many quarts would u estimate u've gone through this machine? Have u had to replace ur pump yet?

Gday i am a renderer by trade for 7 years and i worked with a painter for 3 years and he taught so much about painting, however, i have never used a spray gun before, i do own a graco, but havent used it yet. Do you do two coats on the corners, same as a paint brush?.
I normally do at least two coats everywhere, if it's new siding you might get away with one
That is a great little machine however a project the size of the one you're on you should bring in the 390 from Graco Titan 440
why not get a small 90 or something ? or spray the cieling and then just back roll it if you need a roller finish look.?

HELL no. Specs call for a big (read $5K) airless that can spray textured finish. The cordless is great, but pump life is short as it is.

yeah , I do!. The time you save and how neat it is. Really its brilliant. But... there is a newer kind of battery portable out by graco now

Hi. So I'm interested getting one to. Apparently this are to be used for only 100L of paint before you have to change the pump.... did you had any problems with the pump? Have you changed it by now since you have been using the sprayer? Thanks
Hi yes , I have had to change the pump already, and now I think I need to change it again. This tool can really save you time, so it's still worth it
so you just use that spray gun tool to paint all the corners?
Yeah pretty much in this instance, if you masked everything then you could do more but we use this with little preparation and if just spraying the edge and rolling the rest doesn't leave much paint in the air

@@h4fiz_202 get a small machine.. if you only use it for one time job cleaned good when you finish or it will get bad inside.
It would have driven me crazy to paint an entire apartment with this sprayer that only holds one quart. Have you ever tried using a 395 airless where you can drop the intake into a 5 gal. bucket ? When you run out you just pop it onto another 5 gal. bucket and let it rip. I just don't get it.

Lol I was thinking the same thing. My 395 would have sprayed that perimeter stupid fast and no reloading of the cup. I own 2 of the handheld sprayers, but it is for small jobs like a door or 2 etc.

Trims for sure you can cut the flooring around it lol
If you have trim cut already you wouldn’t have to install until done painting. Trim is only 10 min to install

yeah you can only its quicker with a roller
@@Maxkil so what's the point of the sprayer? Just for the corner where the wall meets the ceiling?
@@FlowTheories it's good for baseboards, doors and trims in general, it takes too long by brush and roller to do the trim so this sprayer comes in handy, you can also use it for cutting corners saves a lot of time, in painting usually the small stuff is what take most of the time so having this sprayer is a dream.
Paint direct from the can or you need some thinning to paint?
yeah direct from can is fine, i have never had an issue

Hey I just used this sprayer for the first time spraying crown. I got a small amount of orange peel I wasn’t a fan of. Used latex trim enamel paint on setting 2 with a green 210 tip.
Use on level 5 to 7

@@TTurbo06 You have to most fast. Airless is not ideal for detail work, even with the new tips. Perhaps thin 10%.

Hey the battery lasts quite a while , i couldn't say exactly to be honest but beautiful thing is you can just use a bigger dealt battery... You seen the new ones?
That's not fast at all but that's a good tool to have for smaller projects

It looks like a kid's toy. For a professional painter, spray everything with latex base coat, spray the ceiling white & roll the trims & walls.
So basically, it's only good for cutting in.
its good for anything small, ive done a few garage doors and it works so sweet, i'm about to buy another one for backup, she failed me last job

He’s using for a trim sprayer, not a ceiling and wall sprayer.
In 30 minutes you can spray the whole house with the inline gun, heavy duty extension, clean shot and 621 tip.
@@igorverdes exactly the whole point of a sprayer is to get big areas done fast which speeds up the job. Plus you would hit all the trim at the same time..
Fuck I hate the music playing. This is a work tutorial, not a video game. Also you may wanna invest in a couple wireless mics or a solution for the muffled voices. Other than that, great video!
