You had to know how extremely awkward and weird that would be to present.
Look people if you're gonna be a teacher don't try too hard. Don't try to appeal to your kids. The best teachers are the ones that are passionate as fuck about what they teach, understand it, and are still ready to support to their kids. They should be able to give emotional support, and help the kids with their work if you need it. If you notice they're failing but they're too shy to ask you, approach them and help them. That's what makes a good teacher. None of that singing popular songs remade into school songs crap. No one wants that.
Side note: Fuck that kid with the keyboard. He should've sat down and continued playing. The show must go on.

I think that's a part of it too, I don't think that any if these raps are legitimately good, but they're entertaining and therefore engaging. To me it sticks better in students heads cause it's memorable and funny, and from what I've seen in schools, students like it. Also most of the teachers who put effort into these kinds of things are often the very ones you describe as being "good".
