It would be great if the BBC could use its influence to persuade the copyright owners of this tune (Shed Media Company) to allow it to be recorded on CD for the many people who would buy it. Come on BBC do something right for a change.
I love this music. I recently heard it in the background of an episode of Great British Railway Journeys and also on a SkyArts programme. Wish it was available to buy/download in a longer version.
Comments here suggest the composer / his music manager is reluctant to release it but that doesn't stop anyone doing a cover version; think I'll make that my next piano transcription.

I have read somewhere else on CZcams that this beautifully haunting music was written by Mark Sayer-Wade and that Shed Media Company owns the copyright. For some inexplicable reason, this music has not been recorded on CD. It is a crying shame as it is truly beautiful and nostalgic and I am sure many people would buy this if they could - I am one of them. Oh and the title of the tune is simply: 'Who do you think you are?' - that's what I've read in any case.

There's no name, it's a song written for the series.
Many have asked for a full song, or for it to come out on CD.
But they haven't done that yet.
