If your not sure about Stellar Blade there is a Demo and usually by time you get through it and play the extra boss after you should have a pretty good feeling on if the full game is your style. (And if you are playing the full game anyway there is no reason not to as the Demo progress carries over to full game as the demo is just the beginning of the game from what i can tell)
That being said, if you like Neir: Automata you might like it, but it does feel a little clunky sometimes. Hopefully that issue is fixed when the full game comes out.
As someone who watched RWBY when it came out, I felt that Bumblebee rant. I was a Blacksun fan since Volume 1 but when I saw the first hint of Bumblebee in Volume 6, my reaction to that was just, "Oh well."

Cause I have dated the attractive women/girl back in my collage days, and she was very hot. Sure, we broke up because at the end we didn't met each other's expectations, but years after that, I was dating another one, and she was hot too. Our relationship lasted longer, one year, but that's not the point that I'm trying to make here. The point that I'm trying to make is that, those people who say that attractive women does not exist, are completely 100% wrong in every way, shape and form. So in my opinion attractive female characters should be in video games and shine our experience with their beauty and allow people to escape the harsh reality. It's the same as if you are reading a book. Cause when you are reading it, you imagining in your mind stuff that was described in there. It's annoying when people try to control how other people make their own works of art because even if you have an opinion and you want other people to believe in your opinion because you feel like your opinion is the only one that matters then I hate to break it to you but your opinion doesn't really matter nor does nobody care or are they going to bow to you just because you're upset with how things in fiction turn out just because you're insecure with who you are as a person and instead of working through those issues and overcoming them you want to take out your frustrations and anger on a fictional character for being what you aren't.

One time i read an article on rayman origins on game design reviews titled saving rayman. Specifically about the nymphs and how they're "sexist stereotypes" and suggesting ways on how it wouldn't be sexist. Male princesses (that's what he said instead of just prince), Female sidekick which we did get in the sequel, or just no nymphs. Safe to say it was pretty awful.
Im actually surprised baldurs gate is rated M with full scenes. Normally that gets you an A rating. I think agony got that because of a scene with two succubi but was cut to get an M. My reason for hating the uglification of characters is not the actual concept. It's actually the reason and people behind it. The people doing this are doing it for an agenda, which is something they all admit to. Companies like Sweet Baby Inc. use scare tactics to intimidate companies into hiring them so they can impose their will on things. Plus, the people who fight for this DEI nonsense aren't even consistent. They bash on Stellar Blade, and turn around and call Aphrodite from Hades 2 hot. Aphrodite is literally naked compared to Eve yet it's considered a female empowerment icon. Looking at you Melissa... I didn't have a problem with this nonsense until i found out WHO is doing this and WHY they are doing it. They are hypocritical, unfair, selfish, and use tactics to force their beliefs that border on TERRORISM. they scare people to let them into the board room. The word "terror" is in the fucking word. I hate the people behind it. Not just the concept itself.
I don't mind sexy characters, but I find it to be as unhealthy as watching porn. I say that because people can obsess over something like 3d or drawn until the point it can become unhealthy. This doesn't make videos games bad or anything I just think people need to take a chill pill around it. I think of it like children or adults assuming women or men to be like god tier gorgeous. SBI helped write the character and "really opened things up to us." (You didn't suggest that, but that's the big problem I presume you're suggesting to.) I don't see how SBI ruins a game or is a bad thing. They've worked on multiple GOTY nominees. Diversity in a game doesn't bother me.

It's annoying when people try to control how other people make their own works of art because even if you have an opinion and you want other people to believe in your opinion because you feel like your opinion is the only one that matters then I hate to break it to you but your opinion doesn't really matter nor does nobody care or are they going to bow to you just because you're upset with how things in fiction turn out just because you're insecure with who you are as a person and instead of working through those issues and overcoming them you want to take out your frustrations and anger on a fictional character for being what you aren't.
The real problem is when some artists do bend the knee to the extremists, that lets those people realize that their opinions do matter and they'll just keep doing it. Just let them scream into the void and make whatever you want, we'll all be better for it.

Im actually surprised baldurs gate is rated M with full scenes. Normally that gets you an A rating. I think agony got that because of a scene with two succubi but was cut to get an M. But apples with a vagina is alright. That's kinda confusing. In fact, the whole rating system is confusing at times.

alan wake 2 stuff is stupid because people got mad because of a line saga said about white people and the context is someone is messing with the story that alan wake wrote(this is AW1&2 main Hook) and changing the personalities of characters and that all im gonna say because of spoilers.
My reason for hating the uglification of characters is not the actual concept. It's actually the reason and people behind it. The people doing this are doing it for an agenda, which is something they all admit to. Companies like Sweet Baby Inc. use scare tactics to intimidate companies into hiring them so they can impose their will on things.
Plus, the people who fight for this DEI nonsense aren't even consistent. They bash on Stellar Blade, and turn around and call Aphrodite from Hades 2 hot. Aphrodite is literally naked compared to Eve yet it's considered a female empowerment icon.

I didn't have a problem with this nonsense until i found out WHO is doing this and WHY they are doing it. They are hypocritical, unfair, selfish, and use tactics to force their beliefs that border on TERRORISM. they scare people to let them into the board room. The word "terror" is in the fucking word.

I don't mind sexy characters, but I find it to be as unhealthy as watching porn. I say that because people can obsess over something like 3d or drawn until the point it can become unhealthy. This doesn't make videos games bad or anything I just think people need to take a chill pill around it. I think of it like children or adults assuming women or men to be like god tier gorgeous. Other than that like what want to an extent. I'm not here to shame you for it.

I definitely agree. Moderation is key. Those people also run the risk of desensitizing themselves with too much porn so they look for more and more because nothing is getting a reaction anymore. Sometimes they stop themselves at a point, others go into the deep end and a select group go illegal.
It's perfectly fine to fantasize, but like literally everything else to ever exist it can become an obsession. That doesn't mean it should no longer exist anymore though. This is what happens when ya build a society based around consuming constant entertainment.

My issue is that some people take it wayyyy too far, e.g., Aloy and Lara Croft AI shit. Eve/Stellar Blade simps frustrate me, like RWBY Bumblebee fans, can because they're also damn rabid. I think obsessing over a 'sexy' character is unhealthy.
Sidenote, it was disappointing for me to see you guys jump on the 'woke' and 'Sweet Baby Inc' train at 45:20. Writers of a game are under no obligation to listen to consultation! They're not forced to make a character diverse!
Regarding Alan Wake 2, and I presume this is what you are referring to, if you can ignore: Director Kyle Rowley said it was "absolutely not true" that SBI forcibly changed the story or race-swapped Saga Anderson. SBI helped write the character and "really opened things up to us." (You didn't suggest that, but that's the big problem I presume you're suggesting to.)
I don't see how SBI ruins a game or is a bad thing. They've worked on multiple GOTY nominees. Diversity in a game doesn't bother me.
