YALL, ALERT ALERT, did you know that: if the ship drivers wouldn't have tried to shift the boat to "help it not hit the ice" that it would have only hit the front and they could have gotten help, but instead they turned the boat side ways and tried to help ot not sink so it scraped the side and that made more water come out of the sinking boat when they should have just duck and hoped for the best, you know what this tells us? Thea Janshen Did you know the iceberg wasnt the only reason the titanic sank? There was a fire in he boiler room which distracted the crewmates and the captain so they didn’t pay attention to the iceberg until they were about 70 feet away and they saw it :)
@@cupidxkayy I’m pretty sure the fire happened before that, they tried to hide it from passengers because there was a big black burn mark on the side of the ship. The iceberg hit right in that very spot, and thats how it sunk. If it weren’t for the fire, they would’ve been fine.
@@lucksss_. Although yes, the fire was the reason the ship sank, (partially) it actually did start before the iceberg, but was not out. The boiler room had a large fire they could not put out and so they didn’t pay attention to the iceberg as much as they did the fire, causing the ship to sink.
