  • On the you tube video it looks like Kobe's shot was good but the real replay shows it was not. This is not my original video. I am just keeping it on my you tube to make sure it never goes away:)

Celtics fans these days never seem to remember how exciting these few seasons were between 2001 and 2003 and they certainly never acknowledge anything Antoine brought to the organization in that span. The fact is if the Antoine/Pierce era never happened there never would have been a 2008 because KG never would have come to Boston. Look what Pierce did without Walker before KG. This time was very exciting and it was a stepping stone.

I love how at 2:04 Mike Gorman goes "score the basket , lakers win" ... and then later he goes "no basket , celtics win!"
hahaha classic! I love Mike and Tommy ... the best sports telecast duo in America hands down.

Aw man, I remember staying up watching this game, I tried so hard not to go so crazy that I'd wake my parents up after 'Toine hit that eventual game winner, then had my heart broken when Kobe hit his supposed buzzer beater, only to be put back together when the refs reversed the call! That Celtics team in the 01-02 season was awesome!!!

Absolutely agree. These seasons were the most exciting! I loved the teams. This game is by far my favorite Celtics moment of all time. The Celts were down 10+ like the entire game and the comeback was just insane. I was so upset when Antoine was traded after they were having such great success.

He actually didn't get it off. The reason they waved it off is because the actual game clock didn't match what was show and it was 0.0 when he got it off. This is in part what led to the red lights around the glass going off. They don't have it here but in the post game show after the game there's a still of Kobe in motion shooting with the ball in his hands with the clock at 0
