The sound is so crisp that you can hear each and every member sing. You'll mistake someone else's voice as a backtrack but its not. It's just Ken. There's not much reverb on the mics, so the long high notes are just Stell's. Justin's voice is also very evident here. It's like glue mending all of their voices. Josh's diction and clear delivery is chef's kiss and Pablo? My God. He's just it. His adlibs is what's hyping everyone and makes the song have more flavor and layers!
It was incredible, and I've been watching this performance over and over again. Millions of views and no stopping. This performance was so CLEAN. The boys showed up for dinner, and we ate!

FIRST TAKE has incredible sound system - and our MAHALIMA cant help but also be INCREDIBLE. All 5 just looked so cool - no mistakes at all.. they were all so ready, prepared and so confidently happy just to get into a FIRST TAKE. COngratulations - so so so proud of our dearest SB 19!!!!

This whole song was FILLED to the brim with swag. They gave the top quality we are all used to, and played with it like "we out here" this is a a GREAT moment
Those mics can pick up the slightest misstep but SB19's singing is flawless. That despite singing a stripped version of GENTO. That highlighted their incredible vocals, delicious ad libs and great harmony. They ate and left no crumbs.

First take is for those artists who took the challenge of showcasing their raw, pure talent. As Pablo said, there's no room for mistakes there cuz they were only given ONE chance. hence, First Take.They asked the staff if ever they got a mistake even a small one to have a 2nd repeat but the staff declined. That's why as they said they were a bit nervous..So that was the challenge there. So to all artists who are lip synching, the platform is not for them 😊
Definitely not for those kinds of people. This is the big leagues here!

This needed several listens, first to get over collective nerves for them, next for the visuals, and then really listen. The sound system of First Take is top rate and the boys conquered it! A truly amazing performance!

This is what I love, is when artists can get out there and ADD to a song in different ways, now it becomes more than just a song, it becomes an experience
There is nothing good was served on the table so they cooked something delicious for us. We ate and we are very full on their performance. So satisfying. Pablo said on the last part of the song, "ate that, ate that"

It's true! I've been personally eating well with the boys haha. I'm also trying to lose weight so I gotta be careful not to over eat ROFL
They all ate it... but Ken is the MVP of this performance, he was the foundation of this arrangement. Pablo's growl and Josh's confidence while Stell pure sounds with Justin's tone made this a special performance.
It was so nice to see each and every one of the boys shine with this arrangement! Listen... I need to see more from this! I hope they get another video out soon!

As Pablo said when he made Gento, he made this song to highlight each and everyone's strengths so they can all shine together. And that's exactly what he did.
All of them are MVPs, and while each have their own awesome tone nothing beats their performance when they are together - they just hype each other up & support each other's lines.

Aww missed the live😫 only because I was at Stell's Wish Bus USA performance in Hollywood❤ He was so sweet and accommodating to the fans and did great with his solo ROOM performance!
The boys really showed what they are capable of plus more on The First Take! They are the 1st South East Asian artist to perform there and couldn't be more proud of our boys!
Pablo and Josh had an IG live prior to the premier and they said they were worried about their vocal conditions because they had the concert, new arrangement especially for this performance, and also had a packed schedule before going to record on The First Take. Pablo even asked them if this was REALLY 1 take and they told them it was lol. I hope they release this on Spotify as a special track😍
SB19 really said, 1 take? No problem! Also, what do we expect when they did Gento acapella during one of their festival performances with tech difficulties. They are true performers and artists.
