Without some sort of incredible live read we i don’t think we can fold top two on a blank river when double flush draw turn was checkraised by one of the most aggressive and creative players at the table. Seems like a case of overthinking this one. You could also have jammed turn for equity denial since his turn XRs will come from pair+flushdraw/straight draw hands sometimes.

As a former business man and effectively a CFO I have always had a "Rainy day Fund" a reserve available to insure that the business will survive most unforeseen problems. I see several poker bloggers like Mr Negreanu who I believe are smart enough people to have a reserve and wonder what percentage of their net worth they have in reserve. I also know for a fact that the way the cards fall is purely luck but do believe that some players are skillful enough to make the up difference between a successful player and one who is not successful- one of them is obviously Mr Negreanu

Me too. The two pair is pretty obscured with that runout and opponent had no way to win other than shove. If they have it they have it but it felt like a call. If clubs got there then I’d fold

i think u should play lower stacks, pretty hard to do tho if youre used to these limits. But you dont have a edge, and deep inside u know this. Thats why running -ev hurts, if youre crushing the field you knoww it doesnt really matter. But here in these games, its pretty hard to get the ev back.

He was bluffing with heart with str8 draw on turn is my thinking then went allin when bricked river. He put you on only one pair K. On turn ur best play would be to re-raise allin or fold instead of losing chips on turn then making same tough decision on river.

The answer to your trivia question: Since with your last trivia question you bet $85,000 into a $111,500 pot, which means you bet 76.23% of the pot. this time I'm guessing you bet 130% of the pot, or $91,000--this large bet is like saying "Please don't call my bet".
Obviously your read is better than mine, but that 2 pair hand with KT I never could have folded. 2 flush draws missed and the only straights that were made on the river don’t make a ton of sense. QJ is possible, but you have blockers to literally every other value hand.

qq pre flop is not a shove no matter what the solver says youre only ahead of kq, jjs and lower pockets you should only shove open with AK, AA, KK , even AQ in some spots
