The first animal from the new Grasslands Animal Pack has just arrived in Elm Hill City Zoo and it is none other than the Maned Wolf! 🦊 Our new Maned Wolves will live together in one enclosure with Giant Anteaters as those guys get the interspecies enrichment from living with each other! This is also a beginning of a small South American section that we will build in the zoo! Huge thanks to Frontier for providing me with the early access to the new DLC!! Hope you guys will enjoy the video! 💚

Elm Hill City Zoo is the series of sandbox speed build videos where I design and build habitats and facility buildings.
Elm Hill City Zoo is my creation of typical older city zoo that is managed very well and has some of its parts renovated to suit the needs of animals and its guests. I am going to use some inspiration from the zoos I've been to as well as the photos and projects I collected on my Pinterest board.

Hello Cesar, the Zoo of Lille is located in the city of Lille which is why it is called like that in French we have no specific word to say that a zoo is smaller compared to another Anyway your habitats are always incredible to discover with so many details !! What an odd couple of animals. I would have never expected them to cohabitate but it totally works! I wonder if there are any more unique animal combos that would work in a habitat. (excluding cross-species enrichment)
I see so many people that are surprised by this but this is actually quite common in zoos!
I know that armadillos are often kept with smaller monkeys for example. Also I saw you mixed Ibex with Macaques and I think it's an incredible idea!
Thank you, yeah I think they were definitely an odd couple that come together nicely because of the shared biome.
I'm trying to think of more of those that oddly fit- like Flamingos & Galapagos Turtles or Wild Horses & Pronghorns.

This has honestly been such a huge inspiration! I don't have much patience to really plan out my enclosures, but seeing this I decided to buckle down. I just made an otter enclosure that I'm actually really proud of using some of your techniques like using rocks to surround plants, more dead trees scattered around and stuff like that. Thank you for inspiring us to be more creative

Zastanawia mnie zawsze gdy oglądam speedbuildy twoje i innych twórców jak to wygląda pod względem zadowolenia zwierząt, chodzi mi o kwestie dopasowania roślinności do preferencji zwierząt i ogólnego zalesienia powierzchni wybiegu np. kiedy zwierzęciu tropikalnemu nie odpowiada roślinność z innych biomów, starasz się wtedy nie umieszczać takich roślin w wybiegach, czy chodzi o efekt wizualny który osiągniesz? Jako gracz franczyzowy który nie ma doświadczenia z sandboxem zawsze mam z tym problem by nie przesadzić z roślinnością i utrzymać zadowolenie zwierząt w wybiegach :)
Hej, zarówno ja jak i większość innych CZcamsrów tworzymy nasze parki w sandboxie gdzie masz opcję wyłączenia limitu roślinności dla wszystkich zwierząt. Ja wybiegi tworzę bardziej patrząc na ich wygląd i realizm a nie wymagania z gry. Myślę, że nie istnieją zwierzęta, które potrafią rozpoznać czy dany krzak jest z ich miejsca pochodzenia czy z innego miejsca na świecie 😆 Jeśli chodzi o franczyzę to rośliny są tylko ułamkiem tego co wpływa na zadowolenie zwierząt. Można spokojnie stworzyć super prosperujące zoo ze zwierzętami, których zadowolenie nie wynosi równych 100%!

Question how do you build habitats without barriers and exhibit animals like a butterfly without a exhibit facility . Great video by the way
Thank you! I use invisible null barriers that are available in the barrier menu. When it comes to the butterfly exhibit you can choose different wall options in the exhibit menu and one of them is a null wall 🤓

@Cesar Creates it sure it. I can't remember what plans you have for bears in Elm Hill, but wouldn't it be cool to give them the biggest hill in the entire zoo to live on. To give them some kind of mountain feel.

I wanted to do that but the new dlc changed my plans a little bit. We will still finish the wild cat house soon. I don't want to be rushed with my projects as it has a bad influence on my creativity. I get quickly tired of this game when I spend too much time playing it. I don't know why translation doesn't work and I can't do anything about this as CZcams generates that automatically and I can't add it myself.

What is your favorite part of creating a habitat? Is it like the nature in the habitat or the viewing area or the house for example?
Definitely the nature part - especially the plants and smaller details like branches, dead trees etc. Buildings are always the worst part for me - I struggle to make them realistic 🤓
