We had pre-recorded this video for Sunday before we heard the news that came out today about the band calling it quits with the departure of Henkka, Janne and Jaska. One of our favorite bands and we are lucky to have seen them live. We want to wish all the best to the band, and to all fans like us, we know COB will never die, we will continue to play their music.

Wow, they went out with a great album. Any news as to why? Their website implies that Alexi and Daniel may continue with a different lineup in the future
Fortunately I have a ticket for the cob show on Dec. 13th
It's their final show with their current lineup, here's hoping Alexi and Daniel continue the band in some way.

This Britney Spears cover of Oops I Did It Again by Children Of Bodom is actually the main reason why I got into and became a diehard fan of Children Of Bodom.
Just an awesome cover and it makes me feel more comfortable and a lot more accustomed to the pop music we all know.

Back in 2010 I remember them playing little parts of songs from Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Jenni Vartiainen (Finnish pop singer) and maybe some others during their live gigs. They were really having good time on stage and joking around with all those covers. Oh good times. Sad to see them disband :(

Jussi Pennanen Oh yeah. Best metal cover of a pop music song I have heard in all my years of listening to heavy metal. Plus this is also comparable to other great metal bands doing pop music covers like Blank Space originality by Taylor Swift covered by metalcore band and rising stars in the metal music scene I Prevail.

They've done a whole album of covers of songs you wouldn't expect them to do. If you listen to their albums you'll realise they've got a great sense of humour (and like owls🤣)

So sad that they'll quit with this line-up, but they have had a great career with the band and they are one the best metal bands ever. What they did was something exceptional. Luckily I got to see them live many times and will see them one more time in december.

Henkka, Jaske and Janne, three of the original members has left the band.. that means that only Alexi Laiho
and Daniel Freyberg is still left.
The problem is the name of the band is own by the ones that left, so as we know them, COB is done.

@@APREACTS : Depending on how things get resolved, they could get royalty checks from each future concert an album. Mustis and Vortex tried to do the same shit to Shagrath/Dimmu Borgir, but we all know who won. I hope everything gets resolved because it seems like Jamie is the ringleader behind this with his talk of solo career nonsense. Yes, he is one of the best keyboardists in metal, but you can't build a career off of that.

The swords are standing close to the airport of Stavanger in western Norway, in a place called Sola. Well worth a visist. The "stone dick" he talks about might be the rock formation Trollpikken( The Troll's dick), also in south western Norway. It went somewhat viral when someone cut it or blew it( no pun intended) down, and the county decided to reattach it since it was a beloved landmark😂

This is from the era of CoB where they were still young and partied and consumed copious amounts of alcohol, so I'd imagine the birth of this song was that the guys were all at the studio, drunk as skunks and one of them went "You know what we should do? A Britney Spears cover!" and then everybody else were like "WTF that sounds stupid! Let's fucking do it it's gonna be hilarious!" and then they just went and did it and continued drinking.
