@Yarnhub what sources do you use to get your stories and what coding/videomaking website or app would you reccomend to an absolute beginner
Why do I have to wait 😕
@@frankczajkowski9082 Answered in the chat but ere's a great place to start. www.unrealengine.com/en-US/blog/explore-the-old-west-with-these-free-unreal-engine-assets
Well I am gonna wait till the morning to watch this. Anyway is there any vids about Australians coming, thanks for the amazing and formation of videos keep up the good work.
Hello Yarnhub, can you make a video about Operation Carthage? Thanks.
The first video is just a nostalgia trip, and yarnhub knows it
Shoo! You wanna get sued?
For real man, I stopped having them recommended to me for around a year. Seeing this one again brought a rush of nostalgia as soon as the name All American was said and I didn’t know why.
Yarnhub you came a long long way and it’s unbelievable.
@@TheBestDog what
Yeah
For real
We don't have a film this week but we're filling the gap with a compilation of 8 great air stories where we'll be online. We'll be back next week with a regular video !
Thank for all your videos. Can you make a video on the Falkland
@@joemcnicholas9851 We don't have anything planned but we'll take a look for the future
Are you gay?
@@Yarnhub hello can you make a video of mm alam(air force ace)
Please 🥺🙏 make a film on the entire d day event including the French resistance group of le roc in 1944
To be honest, you've given me more and easy to digest history lessons in a relatively short period of time than my 12 years of school. We love you, yarnhub!
These are just microscopic parts of history though. School is meant for all around knowledge
@@KeepItSimple47 so how the hell doss it take 12 yea
These are more stories than history lessons. Better to do netflix documentaries or those educational websites for history lessons. These are more for entertainment.
@@ripnob 12 from kindergarten? Yeah let’s teach 6 year olds about nazis
@@KeepItSimple47 years
also tbh yeah
Cats:
6:19 on the ground
6:32 on the roof
19:27 on the rock
23:51 on the crate
24:47 on the pilot’s pad
36:18 on the beach (I guess)
42:47 on the crate again
44:23 control panel
51:30 same as last one
there was one at 6:19
@@Wankel29 got it
GOT IT
Yea
Nein
Your animations and narration are incredible compared to the old History Channel's "Dogfights" episodes.
So well done!
Best wishes for continued improvement and success!
Don't be so queeny
Thank you for keeping history alive
Thank you
bro💀
Something really damn poetic about the plane being named "All American" and despite being so badly beaten and damaged, still fighting for her life all the way until the end. It's genuinely beautiful.
It’s sad that that piece of history had to be scrapped
after seeing all these daring flights here today, it would be interesting if you guys did the story of Lt. Col Tullia who was not only part of the Package Q attack on on Baghdad, but also had a death defying escape of the city where he was chased by 6 separate missiles. It would be great to see more modern stories like that one as there are many that are somewhat forgotten with how fast the modern pop culture media moves on from story to story now.
Or that A-10 that came back from Bagdad all shot up...
That would be very interesting. I hope Yarnhub makes it oneday.
I'm really glad to be able to see documentaries like these at any time I want. As a kid, they were hard to catch on the TV. Thanks for all the work put into them! :)
The nostalgia hit is doing extremely nice things to the back of my neck
During ww2 the Americans built some insanely sturdy planes able to shrug off insane amounts of damage. It's one of my favourite parts of ww2, learning about all the different pilots and crews that were able to make it home just because of how strong and well built their machines were.
I absolutely agree, especially stories of p47 jugs and f4u corsairs. Those huge radials could still fly with whole cylinders shot out, just amazing. But I’ll admit the 109 and the 190 where amazing warbirds and the 109 had a special ability, it could survive extended negative g loads due to the molybdenum added to the engine oil. So the engine wouldn’t seize from 0 oil pressure as the moly coated the engine parts. We use it in cars today. But the liquid cooling was a huge weakness for all aircraft in the war
If you guys think that Yarnhub should do a video on when a German Luftwaffe tornado pilot delivered medicine to a hospital in Italy to save a dying child then comment 🙂
Ofcourse
😊
Definitely, please
The F4 guys deserve more... they literally risked instant death to save their bros in arms, ejecting into warzone along with them, despite the fact that they could escape to the tanker if they did not care. That was super in skill, in will, in wits, and in loyalty. They deserved more!
“Lack finesse”?!
These Animations have always been great.
Will you make a netflix documentary or a video game? Because your animation skills are incredible🙂
We're committed to youtube... but if we could do that as well we're open to it.
@@Yarnhub I would support a patrion for a game like this
This was a trip down Yarnhubs memory lane, and although i keep watching every video, on repeat and have watched this many times, i still love it. Btw the transition from prop aircraft to jet aircraft was a nice touch too, lovely job Yarnhub!
After flying the MiG-15bis a ton in War Thunder, all I could think of in all the scenes where "Casey Jones" was firing at the Sabres was "and there goes his entire belt"
Great videos, and great to have them all in a supercut like this
I loved your channel, the movies these days don’t reflect enough on the bravery and heroic events that these guys and the aircraft did, but you do, so thanks heaps
Video #3 of asking for Hans-Ulrich Rudel.
WOW!
Definitely a great mix of your videos!
My favorites must be the All American story and P-51s vs Me 262s, but all the others were just as enjoyable!
Just keep doing what you do and I‘m sure your channel will just keep growing from here!
Cheers from Germany!
You mean the Red Tails yep I don't study the sky as much as I do the tanks but out of every story I heard from aerial engagements in war red tails are my favorites probably because I'm from Alabama but hey
I found my dad in the video still getting the milk 💀
Johnson and his plane made it home. Despite 200+ bullet holes, he is a hero for having the courage to keep going and going back.
I don’t care if the animation was not as good in the earlier videos.. I ABSOLUTELY 💯 LOVE your channel and how informative your stories are!!! I binge watch almost every other night 😊
Keep up the GREAT WORK!!! Love love love everything about Yarnhub 👏🏼
These are great - the cat appeared multiple times, usually at the end of each story, except in the mig 15 where it is on the pilots kneeboard, and the Nimitz story where it appears twice, both times sitting on a shelf in the cotrol tower of the ships island. :)
Your animation is epic, matching the heroism of all the pilots. It's hard to imagine the danger our aviators faced during those conflicts. My thanks for revealing these true stories of unimaginable bravery. Well done on the tanker video as well.
Babe wake up yarnhub posted
As a kid that wants to be an air force pilot when he grows up, I cannot believe how good these videos are. Keep it up Yarnhub!
Putting these all in a compilation like this reminds me of one of my favorite TV series, _Dogfights._
Though the scale you guys go for with these vids beats said series handily.
The cats I found
6:32 on a windmill
23:54 on top of a supplies crate
24:50 in the Korean writing on the jet
36:20 on the beach
42:48 on some case
also 19.26
44:21 in the tower (repeat at 51:26)
6:19 next to the "All American ".
I don't think your animations were ever bad or anything else and i love them and i think a lot of other people are thinking the same
God I love this channel, their animation has massively improved over the years, and they also introduced me to sabaton, which I'm grateful for, keep up the good work guys, your channel has helped solidify my love for ww2
Just what we needed. Keep up the great work. 👍
All of these animations are awesome! Thanks for making a compilation of the craziest air battles
No film this week? That's OK, I love reruns. Thanks for sharing these Flashbacks.
Love the aviation videos! Bravo for a job well done! Class act!
Love the animation, comentry and the channel its a all round winner
More aviation films, hell yeah my favorite!!
No mater how many times I watch these videos I still enjoy, whenever I’m bored I always find myself bingeing these
This Fw 190 AIM reminds me of my own in WT :)
Kind Regards, Great Compilation :)
The cats are 6:32 roof, 19:27 rock, 23:51 crate, 24:47 pilots thingy,36:18 beach, 42:47 crate, 44:23 panel for controls, 51:30 panel.
Gotta admit this channel is probably one of if not the best on youtube.
Loved every second of it. So well detailed.
The first story and the name of that B17 could not have been more perfect!!
These are amazing… as you can tell, i love the corsair and plane videos. The animations keep getting better! 😄
When is a midway animation btw and are you planning it?
My great grandfather was a fighter pilot during WW2. He wrote "A Gremlin on my shoulder" after the war, its a really good book describing his experiences. His name was Ron Cundy if youre interested in some 1st hand resources or just a good read
Bet he got more money by copyright sueing Spielberg than from the book itself! 😀
Happy I stumbled into this channel and enjoyed some new stories for a change. Great job, everyone!
Love your videos. The animation doesn't break the laws of physics so fine with me. More please ?
Next up: 8 epic naval battles
Love your videos yarnhub team! Been around since the 101st angels video. Keep up the good work!
Absolutely my most favorite channel
The thing I have learned from this guy’s channel is that BF 109’s are capable of a lot of things
we definitely needed brown and stigler here
Thank you very much that was the best way to spend a Saturday morning.
The story of the p-47 that wouldn’t go down is my all time favorite…. I love that story so much. Especially the Germans reaction before heading away “💁🏻♂️ oh well”
I knew it was that story as soon as it started.😂 That’s a classic.
Can you remake the warner voss video pls?
That was incredible
Cat on the windmill on the second story thank you yarnhub for the nostalgic trip
the music is amazing
And it premiers right when the snowstorm over me ends. I'm going go enjoy this as I fall asleep.
Shoveling slush and wet snow around a corner house and empty 2 car driveway with a half way broken shovel and a pristine shovel is not fun folks.
I hope you'll make a video on MiG-21's role in 1971 Bangladesh liberation war, where in this one operation, Indian MiG-21s attacked the governor's house in Dhaka, which caused the Governor to resign immediately on spot and seek refuge under a UN hotel
Bangla who? no one gives a shi.t mate
Jeet singh sekhon he should make on him
You never fail to amuse me. great job! keep the good work up.
I just love these stories. Not only are they exciting but they're inspiring.
lest go a new video
Its just cool to see how the videography evolved over time
Great video as always
i learnt so much thank you
Plane and simple, this is great!
What sources do you guys use?, could you maybe add it in future vids? anyways great work and keep up👍
Our historians look at primary sources where they can. But they use many. If you have any questions on sources we'll try and answer them
Can you make more jet battles from the 50s/60s? I’d love to see some F-100’s. Also any update on the war to end all wars?
Your videos are absolutely spectacular. I truly appreciate your effort in making these videos. Thank you very much
The slow-mo Corsair clip is incredibly well done!
I pulled off that friendly FW-190 act on an enemy player in war thunder and I feel bad about it ever since. He even thanked me when they thought I was going to spare him :( R.I.P.
What animating software do you guys use to make your videos?
Mainly Unreal Engine and iClone
@@Yarnhub oh wow, no wonder they are amazing
Wow, and thank you
Can’t wait ❤❤
You planning on quitting anytime soon I'm just curious because well you're putting out videos that have multiple videos in them
No, we're not planning on quitting. You may notice we have a ton of upgrades recently and thats thrown a spanner in the works in our production schedule. Sometimes we have to miss a week. When we do that we'll do these types of events.
@@Yarnhub keep doing what ur doing! Ever thought about doing a vid on Kurt knispel it would be amazing to see a video on him in the future
@@Yarnhub hey yarnhub. Can you include the pakis ace pilot shot down 5 indian jet in a minute. Im not pak but i wanna see what it look like in 3d. Please
@@luftwaffe8127 Yes we've looked at that story a few times. I think we'll get there but we have another amazing Axis tank battle coming that you will love
@@Yarnhub yoohoo! I love Axis tank-on-tank encounters! But also, can you do a vid on the tank battles in the Solomons, the largest ever fought in the Pacific theatre?
Imagine getting shot down by a rocket lmao
Great presentation on Johnson's "Half Pint". A great and moving Machinima on the story is "Not My Time to Die" by Mystic Puma... if you can find it. It was also amusing to hear an Oklahoma boy call "Bandits!" In a British accent.
Also, I think Gen. Chuck Yeager was "technically" the first two Schwalbe kills when he was lost from his group and happened upon one on approach and another just leaving the ground.
The Redtails' kills though, were LEGIT.
Thank you, yarnhub! I love all your videos but these are my favourites 💚🫡
History like this can not be denied.
Heros through and through.
can you do one about the Chinese spy balloon plzzzzzzzz
We're working on a balloon story....
This is amazing your content is awesome to watch and love to see a new video of yours pop up, the first video I saw of yours was the world War 1 ghost pilot, where one of the weakened spars tore off
The last story had some wonderful Top Gun Vibes...LOL...well done telling the story!!!
I love how it goes in historical order, starting with WW2 and ending up in the modern time. Great choice on that, Yarnhub!
Thank you very much for all these excellent videos and telling us these incredible stories. I enjoy following your channel a lot!
Perfect for my birthday today.
Happy birthday!
@@Yarnhub .Thanks,Yarnhub. I love your videos so keep 'em coming!
The p47 video with Robert Johnson was my favorite bit of Dogfights episodes.
Also thanks you guys are amazing keep up the good work
Wow!... What a Crazy Story. Thanks for Sharing
This channel is the best I've found this year on CZcams
41:01 i remember story like that in a J.A.G. show. They operate with F-14 and it was outstanding. Thank You for that story
Man first video brings memories
Awesome.!!!
This video shows the progression of your skills!
Johnson is a real chad for surviving so many injuries and burns
I love these stories
I Found the cat on the mig alley episode. The compilation videos are extremely enjoyable. Congrats to the Yarnhub team for another great video!
Love it
Yarnhub you have made me obsessed with your videos whenever I come back from school before I do my homework I have to watch at least one video which pisses off my dad 😅thank you for the great memories ❤❤❤
Yarnhub is a very underrated channel! I wish I had the power to give them billions of views and millions of subscribers!
