- Elisabeth talks about being a Cubs fan and going to a game at 100% capacity, liking ketchup on her hot dog and her love of deep dish pizza, having a “reserved” plaque at Cafe Fiorello in NY, directing “The Handmaid’s Tale” for the first time, watching “Mad Men,” and we put her character knowledge to the test with a round of “Who Said It - Peggy or June?”

This is my girl!! Literally, one of the best actors walking the planet. ❤️
True!
Agree.
No argument here
I think one of the best for her age too
Did you know she’s a Scientologist? Cool right lol
Elisabeth is absolutely phenomenal. I hope she wins a few big awards again this season.
I am so excited for The Handmaid's Tale finale on Wednesday. This season has been sooo good!! And the first episode she directed was so amazing, I was so happy to see she'd directed two more.
Season finale of Handmaids Tale was fire 🔥
it left me hanging
@@karenjensen9374 I see what you did there. Praise be
"Praise Be." "Blessed be the fruit." "May the Lord Open." "Under his eye." LOL. Loving The Handmaids Tale.
u forgot " we've been sent good weather"
Truth , for a sold soul
This CANNOT be the end already. That was only like 3 episodes
I thought there would be more as well!!!
Yes!!! I was so shocked when he said it, I had to stop the video to go look it up! And yes S1 was 10 episodes, S2 was 13, S3 was 13, and S4 is back to 10…… :(
@@drewbekius I looked it up as well. Man. I also could watch it over again for the 3rd time😅
As a Chicagoan, it warms my heart to see people from elsewhere have such a deep discussion about my city that's not bad-mouthing it.
Best popcorn, City mix is bomb
@@MyAngrySanta Stuffing my face with it now!
What is the deal with hot dogs - and mustard only - no ketchup?
@@Hollins23 I don't personally understand the strong bias against it here, but if you've ever had a Chicago dog, you won't miss the ketchup, it's absolutely unnecessary on a proper Chicago hotdog.
I ❤️ Chicago! Havent been in far too long!
What an enormously talented person.
Very admirable.
Speaking of snappy lines, Elizabeth Moss never fails to impress. When lines are less, there is more to see...with her.
So I purposely blocked out the episode count of this season of The Handmaids Tales because it is so phenomenal, I don’t want it to end… The highs, the lows, I know it’s gonna be bananas in pajamas! 🙏🏾💙🙏🏾
I just watched the last episode of Season 4 this morning. I couldn't wait!! I am sad I won't have an episode to look forward to next week. 😔
@@Homegirl54 Same😅
I love Elizabeth Moss, she is one of the best actors of all times!
Everything about her is perfect! And that season ending OMG ❤️
i watched her on mad men all those years and had NO CLUE she was a scientologist lmao
Elizabeth brought some great directing in her 3 directing episodes. This season was fantastic, satisfying and justified whew…cannot wait to see S5 which could be the final season, let’s hope not.
I miss Mad Men!
I can't get enough Elizabeth Moss
She's a scientologist, enough said
@@emu_warrior Your point? she’s practices a religion just like everyone else
@@emu_warrior That doesn't mean she's not a good person. People who are inside scienthology are victims.
@@l7665 Yeah but Scientology tho? I just found what that was and am pretty shocked how someone can play a character like June and be in that weird cult. I heard if you try to leave than they follow you, cut off contact to whatever family is still involved and other stuff. She can act no doubt but idk what’s wrong with her as a person
I am so glad I discovered jimmy kimmel...always brightens up my day and perfect to watch when I really can't find anything else to interest me...never lets me down so thank you jimmy!!!
Handmaid's Tale is freaking AWESOME
I wonder how much of The Handmaid’s Tale is funded by Scientology. Elisabeth Moss is a producer and is a huge Scientologist so she probably gives a ton of money to Scientology in addition to whatever money Scientology makes by producing the show.
@@ejflor1313 I’m so confused about this whole Scientology thing can you explain it? And why is she playing some one like June and in a cult like that?
Coincidentally started binge watching Mad men last week, Hi Peggy!
It's the best isn't it?! Enjoy 😊
@@jennyruth5620 I binged watched 4 years ago, first time I watched the series. It's epic!
Hi this is Peggy. Would you like to join Scientology like Elisabeth Moss?
Me too!!! I'm addicted all over again to Mad Men!
Same!!!!
I like her as an actress. But like with Tom Cruise and Travolta (great actors), I have a hard time understanding why they'd promote a cult that have destroyed so many lives and families. I already dislike religions on some degrees. Now we also have to battle cults that separate families, scam people from their money, turn their members into slaves and stalk & harrass those who leave. The worse part with her is that she is literally in a show denouncing that kind of extremism, posing herself as some sort of hero toward that type of institutions. While at the same time, promoting the most famous one out there in real life.
Maybe you have hard time understanding it cause you have your facts wrong. Just saying.
@@orionsshoe2424 big time
I was very disappointed in her when I first learned this about her. She always plays such incredibly strong, smart, resilient women, but promotes the exact opposite by her real life choice.
Religion just makes everything worse, because it conditions you to accept lies. And then you are susceptible to accepting worse lies...
To be fair, you can attribute negative traits to pretty much every organized religion...
@Ryan Akwar I agree Scientology is a cult and has been damaging. All religions vary by different degrees wrt how damaging they are/have been. Some have described Mormonism as a cult too. Other religions have still done a lot of damage to families, cultures, entire populations, despite them not being cult-like, like Catholicism, Christianity, Islam, etc. That's all I'm saying.. The only thing there other religions haven't done as much as the OP mentions about Scientology is stalk its members who leave, though I'm sure my father would disagree with that given how the pastor harassed him for months after we left our Protestant church.
I am on episode 8 of series 3. Series 4 starts this Sunday in the UK.
Her performance in handsmaid tales was phenomenal, she must have picked something up in her lifetime of being a Scientologist. She must try to perform like the woman she’s helped abuse their her silence on Scientology, and her constant denials of victims.
Shut up, who held the gun to their head?
She is stunningly beautiful.
That season finale could not have been more perfect! Cannot wait for season 5. Hoping it won’t be a full year
I did indeed find the season finale *very* satisfying. 😌
I love Moss's acting and directing but everytime I see her interviewed ALL I can think about is ' We know you have no time for anything but work AND SCIENTOLOGY BECAUSE WEVE ALL H4ARD ABOUT THE CRAZY '!
Season finale already?!!! Nooooo!!!! It's my favorite show!
That was a fun interview!!
Aww I loved it. that was a great interview :)
Elizabeth Moss should bring that Suburban Commando clip to all the shows. Like Paul Rudd and his Mac and Me clip on Conan. 😂
She should have been nominated for an Oscar for her work in Invisible Man.
Hungry for Pizzaria Uno now. They have $6 deal for a 2nd takeout pizza! Less than a mile away and I live near Philly!
Legend. Both Peggy and June are iconic.
Honestly i love all the condiments on my bread and meat. Hot sauce, ketchup, mayo, mustard, relish, honey mustard... im on a diet, can u tell?
You are my favorite Jimmy!
She is sooooo talented!
i'm pleased , WAS AMAZING !
Her personality is luminous 🤩
A Scientologist stars in a show criticizing religion, huh?
She was raised in it so I imagine it would be hard to leave considering it would mean not being able to see family still in the church :( it's destructive and very sad.
@@Jessicace that rule is rarely enforced against celebrities unless they are bound by NDA like Tom Cruises two exes. Scientology can't afford a popular celebrity talking about their disconnection policy from such a personal experience.
@@RHYD_ Religion is relative, anything that involves a set of morals, beliefs & practices is technically a religion, it doesn’t always mean worshipping a deity
Best Season of HMT , wow, wow wow
Lou Malnotti's was always my fav. Gino's East close 2nd.
Oh man, I LOVE me some Lou Malnati's!! But, I also eat ketchup on my hot dogs lol.
This my girl 😍😍 she is awesome
Literslly never heard of anyone eating a hotdog without ketchup on it. How bizarre!
And almost everyone I know doesn’t use ketchup
I never been to Chicago
BORN AND RAISED IN CHICAGO, MY HAIR STANDS. UP WHEN I HEAR PEOPLE SAY CHI-TOWN, OLD TIME CHICAGOANS, WOULD NEVER USE THIS TERM. I FIRST HEARD CHI-TOWN MANY, MANY, YEARS AGO WHILE ATTENDING COLLEGE IN MICHGAN. IT SEEMS THAT STUDENTS FROM MICHIGAN AND INDIANA CAME UP WITH IT. ALSO MY FAVORITE DEEP DISH PIZZA IS FROM UNO'S , AND DUE'S, DON'T LIKE MALNATI'S.
My momma was as well and she always called it "Windy City".
I've never heard actual Chicagoans use the term chi town 😂
@@kmorri9 EXACTLY MY POINT, KIMBERLY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INPUT. THE PUBLIC SHOULD KNOW, THAT A "TRUE" CHICAGOAN CRINGES WHEN THEY HEAR THE TERM "CHI-TOWN".
Same here when Boston is called “beantown” NO ONE from here would ever call it that.
YES, I FIGURED AS MUCH, BUT IT'S GOOD TO HEAR IT FROM A PERSON WHO ACTUALLY LIVES THERE .
Elisabeth Moss is on a Daniel Day Lewis level of acting
Throw the Toronto Maple Leafs into that category with the Cubs
Chicago hot dog predates ketchup and the deep dish is a tourist trap
I'm a lifelong Chicagoan and prefer deep dish for sho.
Shes so awesome
Hi there
"You're doing well ..superman do good", "you need to check your grammar ...SON!!!" - Tracy Morgan.
I just got her autograph!
Charismatic ❤️
Lou Malnati’s is the best for sure
I'm partial to Giordano’s. 🤷♂️
End the debate with Detroit style pizza. Buddy's on the East side was walking distance when I was a kid.
Now I do it home but vegan and gluten free. It loses nothing.
It honestly makes me so sad that she's a Scientologist
Well that sucks!! I had no idea that she is "one of Them!!" Now I can't see her the same way anymore like a regular person. I wonder what Elisabeth Moss thinks about Leah Remini. Scientology is just a way of controlling how one should live, think and do (following "the Scientology rules by their Commanders") like in Gilead. I guess Elisabeth Moss does not see that. "The Eye of Scientology" is always watching their members.
Still, she is a great actress.
@@delrey874 That maybe so . . . but still. . . she is a Scientologist. "Have a Blessed Day." The Scientology way.
Who would have guessed Elizabeth moss likes to go to town on a bag of peanuts.
Every day we have plenty of opportunities to get angry, stressed or offended. But what you're doing when you indulge these negative emotions is giving something outside yourself power over your happiness. You can choose to not let little things upset you.
🌠💪
Feeling isn't necessarily indulging. It's just being human.
I think she keeps looking off camera to her Scientology handlers? Could be wrong 🤔
SHE WAS THE LITTLE GIRL IN SUBURBAN COMMANDO?!? DED
Oh Peggy!
Hello
Nothing more ironic than a Scientologist making a show about a totalitarian society. Where is Shelly?
So all Scientologists are the same?, She doesn’t even promote it

Well..that shows how good of an actor she is . 🤷🏻♂️
Stop idolizing actors and expect them to match their own personalities to the personalities they play on tv .
Idolize their work and enjoy it as it is..and then separately, understand that they are just people , and like people, they are not perfect, are full of flaws , and some are comolete assholes. Just as much as they are some who are great people . And that you wont know whos which, unless you know them personally .
Adrian did it !
June Osborne 😍
Maybe she should start looking at her own “religion”….the crimes they commit, the abuse they heap out on the members.
You say as if there's any remotely clean religion. As an atheist, it amuses me when any Scientology member is pillared for their beliefs. What moral superiority do folks in other religions have?
@@onibon1990 You obviously know nothing about Scientology. The "leader"'s wife is being held against her will at this very moment. They have bankrupted people, put them in lockdown for months and years at a time. Read a book once in awhile. It's not a religion. It's a CULT.
@@mommas1276 so? Yet another religion with a heavily problematic history is all I see. Literal wars/rapes/lynchings/beheadings are committed in the name of religion every other day.. How's this kidnapping somehow worse?
What?!!? No Giordano's

Lou's is definitely the best
No. Deep dish pizza isn't pizza. 32 years ago I went to New York, had a slice of Ray's, and have searched to experience that again. Growing up not far from Chicago, visited every summer. Had Deep Dish pizza once. It was so horrible. No.
If you can't have ketchup on hot dogs, what can you have it on?
French fries.🍟
Hot dogs are way too salty without ketchup or sweet pickle to balance the mustard.
Talking about her roles starts at 6 minutes in.
I NEED June to get revenge on Selina
think about a kid with the downs wearing a suit on and look at kimmel. You will never be able to unsee it.
So very glad to hear Jimmy is a fellow Lou Malnati’s deep dish pizza fan; way to go, Jimmy!!! 👏👏👏🤘🤘🤘👍👍👍
You should see Chicagoans react to my Chicago Dog, I add Ketchup and Mayo...they gag for some reason. They'll eat Mayo in mac salad, egg salad, ham salad...etc, but WHATEVER, grow up!
So many have divorced over the ketchup/mustard debate.

Lou Malnati’s is straight up suburb garbage tho. Giordano’s all the way.
Suburb garbage? To each their own, but Lou Mal's is straight fire. Giordano's is good also but not as good as LM. Pequod's is very good too.
She should do comedy
Close ups for long periods we get it, you can do it, but I’m fast forwarding because it’s annoying as hell.
How can you live in Los Angeles and root for the Mets?!? We have *the Dodgers*, and the Angels (who don't even play in LA county, they're in Orange county)! JK.
You don’t root for the team where you live in, you root for the team where you were born. Kimmel is from NYC
Da Bears..Daaaa Bulls..Daaafuq. will somebody explain this hot dog phenomenon 😶 doesn't even exist here anymore the deal is make your own it is so much better 😉 Pizza not hot dog what the hell is up with that 🤣
I would be so horrified if it ever actually happened 😮
Ya...I'm just finishing Season 2 of THT, and being a good Canadian and Atwood fan, I felt it was my duty to check it out. I think Elizabeth Moss is a very good Actor, but I have to come down in the side of Camp Bizarre and Ironic. I mean, SERIOUSLY ? ...Moss is no dummy - surely she can see the parallels with Scientology. Just ask anyone in the Sea Org. who was forced to have an Abortion, or works without being payed a Salary ( if you have your own money, you can leave, right?) or anyone who has been put in Scientology Prison (yes...they have one).
It does kind of taint the whole thing.
Sucks you can tell there’s an OT-8 off camera giving her feedback.
Ask her about Xenu
It's really throwing me for a loop seeing her with dark hair
Blessed Day.
