Here the first sentence you will find states that "In mathematics, a function from a set X to a set Y assigns to each element of X EXACTLY ONE element of Y". For this reason, a vertical function does not exist because it has an infinite elements of y for only one element of x. Although a linear one such as you stated does exist I never said anything about linear functions because a vertical line is not a function and thus not a linear "function".
The straight lines are the start to wrap your head around it. E.g you want x = 3, with y limited to a certain length. This gives something like the first line in H. Then you add variables wherever “a” so that when it’s 0, eg x = 3+0, it doesn’t effect the end product. But anything else contorts it. Then you memorise the equation for the line with your variable already set to non-0. It’s still impressive and the waves and circles are amazing. But he backwards engineered this and memorised it (if that wasn’t obvious sorry). I used this software for years and blown away how creative this was.

not that long, it's a lot of separate formulas, and by inspecting them you should be able to come up with your own text.
