I appreciate the honest review. So often people make videos about traveling on a budget but when I'm on vacation I like to relax, eat good food, and maintain tipsy status, so the honest prices and overview of the activities and dining are helpful to anticipate what's included and what's extra. I also appreciate the tips on going into town for cheaper booze and that it's included while gambling. Definitely helpful.

Extremely thorough & helpful video! We tried making dinner reservations this past month for our visit to Baha Mar next week and almost everything was already booked up a month in advance. We’ve finally been able to find some availabilities opening up this week as people started cancelling their trips & reservations the week before, but it’s still hard to find anything at the restaurants we really wanted to go to.
Can’t wait to head there in 4 days, but have SOOOOO much work to get done first, including scrambling to finish editing a video which I won’t have time to do once we’re away. Thanks for all the great recommendations!!!

Hey thanks this was super helpful. Did you try to make restaurant reservations online in advance? Seems like they are booked months out so I’m wondering how accurate that is. Thanks again!
Yes, definitely try and make reservations! I had no idea how booked up the restaurants would be. Basically, if you do not have a reservation, you will not be sat. We were lucky and made some reservations Once we got there.
I would advise to try and make them online or give them a call in advance!
How long were you there? And how long would you recommend staying?
We were there 4 nights, we thought we got a lot done in that time. However we would’ve extended our stay one more day if we knew there was so much to do!
can you walk around everywhere if you are not staying there?
You can walk around all the main areas including the shops, casino, and restaurants. However you cannot use or be by the pools, beaches, or water park.

I believe it is called Deans Blue Hole and it is at one of the main pools for Baha Mar - it is open to everyone staying on the property
Hmmm..., well i will have a day pass to baha bay, coming from a cuise not staying at baha mar prop. Day pass to waterpark does give u considerable access to many things at baha mar. Hoping this cool cliff place is included! Guess I be sure to get confirmation sometime before next March!

Is the 15% service fee on the restaurant receipt the tip? Or what is that for?
Yes that technically went as a type of tip for the service staff
Tip, bring an unopened liquor bottle packed in your checked bag, a large Arctic tumbler, and bottles of your mixer, coke zero etc. Ice machines on every floor. Save some money on drinks

Casino and market restaurants only opem on the weekend??? Was that a covid thing and moot now??
The hours seemed to change constantly. I believe they do this seasonally, depending on the amount of people staying
so, the water park is not included if you are staying at Baha Mar hotel?
It is included if you have a room with Baha Mar!!
Hello there...were the coffee pods for the in room coffee maker complimentary?
Hello we never did use the coffee maker but to my knowledge they are included because the waters they put on that tray are also included

If you don't finish your food in the restaurants can you get a box to go to bring back to your room? We have a daughter so I sure we would have leftovers.
Yes you could! However, in the SLS hotel rooms, the mini fridge is already stocked so there is no space to put anything. I would suggest getting a cooler before making it to the hotel!
Can you use US dollars or do you need to exchange for local currency? Also, do they pay winnings in the Casio in US dollars? Thanks for the video, very well done and helpful
You do have to get local currency. We used an AMEX, which lets you pay by credit card with no exchange fee. Also, the casino you had the choice of winning in US dollar or Canadian at both the cashier and the cashier machines

No one should be shocked over restaurant prices. All of that info is available online before you book your trip. That’s a YOU problem😂. Also the resort doesn’t own and operate all the restaurants, some are private businesses that set their own prices

Horrible... at Baha Mar now. Unable to find a chair at any of the pools or beach. Restaurants over capacity, making finding an extremely overpriced meal very difficult. Water park over run by cruise ships . You'd think for the price they'd have enough space... nope! Go somewhere else!
Oh no that’s so sad to hear. We got lucky and went on days where it wasn’t crowded at all. We wanted to go back soon but hearing that is scary! Sorry you are having a bad experience, fingers crossed it clears out for you
