Why did he do the slide for? Did he drop the combo or something, if he still have drive meter he could have drive rush again to extend the combo. But couldn't he have use lvl2 instead to end the combo there?

Jamie is better but he isnt broken. for him to get 4 drinks that means he has to hit you 4 times, you lost neutral 4 times man. He litterallly doesnt function very well without them also doesnt keep between rounds. it takes him awhile to get there. Him giving up oki was so bad. Luke,chun li,guile some of the best characters in the game base without building up and dont have to give up oki.

Jamie round 3 theme is amazing
I picked up Jamie around 6 weeks before the mini-patch and he ended up becoming one of my favorite characters. The buffs made him even more fun to play. There's a couple more small buffs i wouldnt mind seeing, but overall i am pretty content with how he currently is. I am just hoping they dont overbuff him in the upcoming s2 update. He could easily become a very obnoxious character with some of the buffs that i often see being requested.

I’m new and I really want to start with Jamie as a main is he easy to learn ? Low tier Mid tier or Top tier ? this are really smart buffs that make him stronger but mainly buff the feel of the character. i rather have my character get "smaller" buffs but better gameplay than overbuffs that make their kit redundant

Man zangief just got buffed a couple of days ago and now Jamie is buffed this character is a really big problem now he’s getting his drinks in faster and the more he drinks the more damage he can inflict so with all of this being done for Jamie he’s definitely not low tier the dee jay and zangief players were good but you won against them in the end keep up the great work Justin

You get oki, you basically give up oki to get a a drink.
You get insane oki w/o drink basically.
With drink, you get decent oki (+7 but not at throw/lights range)

I hope they don't actually make Jaime top tier because if he becomes top 3 he's gonna be a menace he has the best tools in the game when he gets all his drinks. Lunge Punch, Dive Kick, Rekka, command grab, etc keep him mid.

I kinda like the buffs. But they could've worked on some other stuff.
He aint top tier. Dude moved up only like 3 spots if anything.
Still deserves his lvl 1 target combo in base, his breakdance needs slightly faster startup and more initial horizontal movement, his DP is bad (it whiffs a lot with shallow hitbox and it needs buff where it still does full kick animation even on whiff instead of flopping on back. 6:38 is perfect example) and his divekick is complete fucking cheeks
Inclusive with the buffs, Jamie continue have big issues like his horrible hurtboxes
He has a laundry list of issues, but my main 2 are shit dp that feels bad to use and bakkai being a really bad anti-fitball tool.
Jamie is absolutely top 5 now lol. He was the best character in the game when he got max drinks. The problem was getting them. Now you can get max drinks without even trying, AND get meaty/throw follow-ups? That is just broken and needs to go. He should either get to drink or get a follow-up. Not both, that is just dumb.
Ya no. A grab drink doesn’t make Jamie top tier. A lot of his buttons are still ass. He still has to pressure to become a real character. Your opponent by default controls the first half of every round and his level 4 state is maybe barely top ten

As a Jamie main, he is still low tier, and content creators, pros, and influencers all the like are absolutely annoying to this fact lol. He’s been low tier from DAY 1, and so many tried gaslighting and lying mega hard saying he’s fine. No, HES NOT FINE 😂😂😂😂💯. Quit trying to suppress Jamie bros, it’s the most frustrating thing in this entire game for me.
