- Krátké a kreslené filmy
the first minute is just a wild stand off between EMD and GE it is just building suspense and i"m waiting for the two sides to just charge at each other
I love the chopped engines

Man I wish I had a layout like yours. This is so detailed and very well built. Good luck in future projects!
Thanks!
Build it
NSmodeler24 can you run a mixed freight train with the sd70ace heritage unit leading a 96 car mixed freight train with two regular sd70ace engines.
I didn't know I wasn't the only one with a chopped engine concept. I made a chopped 5 axel es44ac a few weeks ago. I love those mini Dash 9's !

The cooling grill modifications are for split cooling. Allows them to add an inter-cooler into the loop for environmental reasons. I believe it makes them tier 0+ or tier 1 compliant.
Very nice collection. Beautiful layout. So much love put into all of you guys stuff.
Very good work. Love the little engines!
Love all your engines and the attention to detail is amazing! Big fan of the channel as well.
Thanks Shaun! That means a lot!
I love these NS locomotives! NS is one of the companies I see on the rails locally-- always liked watching their trains go by.
I love the B32-8 engine, I find it amazing that you practically built that, very cool, two thumbs up.👍👍
Awesome job on your B32-8. That ex-ATSF 8-40B is also really well done
Great video. I enjoy your fleet. Looking forward to your next video.

Thanks Gary! I'll be sure to let him know :)
The weathering on the 2572 is outstanding!
Thanks! :)
Uhhhhhh...THATS A LOT OF TRAINS!!!
Great video
Lol, this guy probably knows more about locomotives than me and I repaired real locos for 11 years... upgraded with PTC even. Great video.
Thx so much for doing this channel man!
You have inspired me to create my channel (launched 2 weeks ago) and I just made my first layout tour yesterday!
I’m hoping to get to other young guys like me to get into model railroading!
Just saying thanks so much for inspiring me and giving me some ideas!
(You are one of the Main channels I watch for MRR)
Btw if you guys have tips/ideas, they would very Welcome!
My upload schedule for model railroading and model building (tanks) is always on Sundays
Hey thanks! Best of luck with your channel and thanks for the kind words! -Josh
Wow very impressive roster buddy !😃
You are probably the best train modeler ever you are the best
Awsome fleet!
Nothing crazy big LOL!!?? what an impressive lineup
Awesome video as always Josh! I can't wait to get home and see 3272! It arrived in the mail safe and sound the other day. Thanks again and I'll have to text you when it gets closer to the 18th so I can possibly swing by and visit!
Glad it made it safely! Sounds like a plan.
Totally agree with you about the Loksound, I have quite a few Athearn units with the Tsunami and once my fleet is completed I may just go back and replace all my Tsunami equipped units with Loksound, we are definitely on the same page.
Terrell Howard Tsunami 2 is the best in my opinion love all the features and have more to offer. Thinking of placing a Tsunami 2 in a locomotive soon.
I have always loved the look of NS for some reason.. they fly buy my friends house in GA . Amtrak too.. they have to be doing 75mph or more.
Outstanding collection, great work to on the B.C. Rail locomotive eh
Thanks! Appreciate it. :)
You always need locomotives. Myself I have all the Intermountain NS heritage units but need the NW & Nickel Plate ES44ac's and all but4 of the Athearn Genesis NS SD70Ace Heritage units. One of the manufacturers will release a D9, hopefully this year. You got to love the TopHats.
Love the NS dash 9’s and dash 8’s and the ac44-c6m’s (correct me if I’m wrong on that name) sucks that NS is starting to get rid of them. I’ve been growing up watching Norfolk southern units rolling through the Old fort loops and Linwood yard in sailsbury NC but my favorite trains to watch is CSX. It’s just really freaking cool to see someone model a railroad that me and my parents grew up on! My and my dad might start one soon!
alot of engines would loved to see how many would be moving to the round house...but I agree its a terrific layout
Solid roster!
Would love to see those shorty D9's cut loose in a video or end segment. I've done similar with a set of Walthers Oscar & Piker coaches with an 0-6-0, it always gets fun questions! Half the people never knew Walthers produced them.
I like how you called 8105 a ES44ACE
Love the high hoods! If you wanna look, 3241 had a lot of bleeding before it was sent North for rebuild
Thanks for the info. I'll take a look at it!
I hope you get more CSX. CSX is one of my favorite locomotives. I love your models, especially that tophat. You also didn't talk about the P42.
That's a lot of detailed work very nice. No doubt you charge more for the rebuilt material.
Wow I’m speechless
Nice josh I plan my roster video after get all my union Pacific and bnsf units then can do them up close and others
I got NS 8100 the NKP heritage unit from Bachmann. That is my only NS unit
You need some smaller 4 axles units for "in tow" moves. They get hauled all over for their 92 day inspections. Always see them trailing on the road freights
You should make a video of your Amtrak running around the layout.
Good thing I've got a NS SD50 #6556 in HO scale that's for sure.
Awesome layout out!! I'm just getting started, I was wondering if you had any of your old tsunamis boards you want to get rid of, im starting all DCC but one Loco I have is just DC.
Wish i had that many locomotives
"He that hath the most toys winneth the game"! Gentlemen, I think that we have a winner!
Man I love the decoders you use and the sound is amazing! Could you possibly give me a link to where you buy them and which ones you buy?
The dash 8 modds are a upgrade program. CN has done most of theirs. It involves upgrading the locomotive to fuel injection and upping the rpm requiring the extended range cooling the upgrades can give the dash 8 4350 HP. For 750k Vs buying a new ES44 or ET44 for 2.5 million
Or of these days I should bring my NS fleet over for a few videos. Last count I had over three hundred NS related powered units. NS SOU and SOU units. The most I have ever used in one trains was about 10 I think. 6 in the front, four mid units and two pushers.
I found one of my old videos when I belong to the Thames Valley Model Railroad group. This was one of my longest coal trains. And to boot, each car with coal in it, is actually real, about two pounds each car.
It took two throttles to operate this train. Man I miss my NS locomotives! Time to get them out again.

Beautiful collection! And thanks for sharing. -Josh
You need to get all the Heritage Units by NS, even the conversion units.
Idea: n one of your older units (older as in real life old) you should add a fart of the loco that has really fly paint to make it look like it’s had to be replaced.
I love norfolk southern
Love the BC rail and CN engines. You need a CP and Via. 😉
Thanks! haha
The way to start off 2019...
Now time to create the NS SD70ACC's
So 8105 is a ES44ACe now.. fancy
Incredible lineup! Are the Scaletrains stuff Operator or Rivet Counter series (I didn't catch it if you said). Which sound maker do you prefer since you kinda have a bit of everything.
What is your favorite Class I Freight Railroad? Also in August, I saw NS ES44AC #8099 (The Southern Railway Heritage Unit) leading with NS AC44C6M #4156 trailing heading West at Horseshoe Curve during the day. I also saw NS SD70Ace #1069 (The Virginian Railway Heritage Unit) leading a train East, at night on the same day in Downtown Altoona, Pennsylvania. I also saw NS ES44AC #8105 (The Interstate Heritage Unit) heading East from AMTRAK's Capitol Limited which was heading West in the summer of 2018. Lastly, do you prefer GE Diesel Locomotives or EMD Diesel Locomotives?
With the D9-40Cs I will be doing I am just going to buy D8-40Cs and D9-40CWs and switch the cabs. Unless a company releases them when I have the money free to buy them.
The cabless switcher you should make to look like the RP14BBD.
Got a cool project, an SD40E
We met at the train show n ATL March
5:11 nice hertage units
The APU on the GE keeps the batterys charged and keeps the cooling water warm. Eliminating the need to run the locomotive all the time.
Good to know. Thanks for sharing Bill.
I hope you make a video running the two little dash 9s
Look in NS playlist for the Shorty Dash 9s
The 6939 SD60E. I actually built that unit. The real locomotive. I work at the Juniata Locomotive Shop. We built all of SD60Es there. The 6900 was actually originally the locomotive involved in the accident that I believe killed 12 people.
I have a good idea,If you want,you can make that SD70M into a SD70ACC,maybe 1800 or 1801
I wonder if we get to see a excursion train with the N&W steamers, maybe 1227 by any chance?
A lovely roster! I'm bought my first DCC and sound loco about a month ago, but I havent been home to run it! It's a BNSF SD40-2 from Scaletrains (Operator). I believe it has tsunami sound. I'm stuck on the floor with ez-track until I build some benchwork lol. I have to ask, will you be at the show in Council Bluffs, IA coming up here soon?
Cheers!
Yessssss
Could you do an updated roster video?
I've been considering getting one of those ScaleTrains ES44DCs. Do you recommend it, or do you have any other suggestions (preferably in a similar price range)?
Be nice to have your talents. Do you ever do to painting video,on your engines?
Great video 😀👍👍
What was the Amtrak loco you have?
A kato P42 and an (in the words) atlas dash 8-32BW.
