I've seen her live 3 times... always amazing. Happened to meet her after one show when my car was boxed. Her bus was there too. She is incredibly humble and gracious.

Am I the only one that saw this and thought “Is she being abused?” Her spirit seems so low and her right cheek is puffy. And in an irregular way... bone bruise? And when Jimmy talks to her, stands next to her... she seemed... scared/broken. I went back to it a few times and asked others if they see it. Sadly, the others don’t know her music, her normal high spirit. She is a bit shy in interviews but not live. I saw her once, live. I had 4th row center aisle seat, looking right up to her. Then when she “curtain” lights dimmed, the couple in row 1 aisle seat left. Btw... at the time, I was recovering from brain damage using a cane and slow movement. So, I took their seats, sat right in front of her and could see every movement of her eyes and catch the smallest grin and I can say... in that moment, happiest person I’ve ever seen. I know everyone has a moment like this but I wish I could have captured it on video and then interviewed her about it ASAP.

exactly the opposite - the backup singers are the lead singers of Tank and The Bangas, and a few months later they went on to win NPR's tiny desk concert. Their album went to no. 1 on the iTunes RnB chart, and they're now selling sold out shows across the country.
MrArnoldLayne420 Many backup singers have multiple "jobs". This lady now actually has her own group now and is amazing. Yet, while performing with Norah Jones...I can see how people wouldn't like how unique she is. Glad she gets to do her own thing now
