I had the first gen T rex for probably 3 to 4 years. It's still working well with amazing life of up to 20 days. Thinking of upgrading to this now
The pro makes a fantastic watch. As a landscaper and gardener, I use mine outside every day. It endures daily abuse and performs admirably. It has more than enough usefulness for me, is lightweight, and is waterproof. The Pro 2 with the branding on the side is overly decorative and unquestionably not worth the price premium. Who really needs a watch with 100 different sports on it? A watch that is already nice would be even more valuable with better watch faces and designs. At that pricing point, I would probably seek elsewhere if I wanted greater features. But I'm really pleased with the pro.
The cardiac sensors of AmazeFit watches have a bad reputation for being inaccurate. For the first 5 minutes, it does its purpose well. Finally, it seems that even when at rest, hand motion may improve production.
I’ve had this watch since launch and can’t fault it travelling all over the world it’s stood the test of time. But the big but is it won’t do any heart rate etc through my tattoo sleeve on my arms works perfectly on my less inked pieces on my body but not really ideal 😂
I just picked this up after weeks of researching name brand watches. I hadn’t heard of the T Rex Pro and just bumped into it at wal mart and it looked like an amazing value. The alternative at wal mart was the Garmin Forerunner 45 but that was slightly more expensive and seemed to have almost no features at all, more sacrifice than I wanted for a name brand. I will be wearing this watch for awhile then do a review of it myself as well. I also got a Samsung Watch6 through my phone provider but have not opened it yet because I learned after ordering it that it will not work with iPhone at all, likely will return that. I’m excited about the Trex Pro being a potential Garmin budget competitor for a fraction of the cost. I’m not a total pro or expert and don’t need a Garmin at my socioeconomic status.

thanks received mine yeterday. I am glad I lost my 11 yr old casio. The only thing it had that this watch doesnt have is solar panels but then if it only needs charging every couple of weeks makes it a wash. Otherwise it is hands down way more technically advanceded than the Casio. The instruction manual requires magnification to read and a degree in IT to understand. Awesome watch and who knows maybe a year from now I will have learned about everything it has to offer. I recommend it. Oh yea I learned last night I only had an hour of deep sleep. Not sure what the goal is but I am thinking I should have more deep sleep time.

If the charging icon is displayed while charging, but the watch can't be turned on by long pressing the power button, how to solve this problem..
It looks as though the band is not replaceable. Is it? I am deathly allergic to silicone on my skin so I cannot wear this if it cannot be changed...

Don't waste your money, mine lasted 2 weeks and screen cracked,, i didn't have any hard knocks, hardly military grade as they advertise
In fairness a sample size of one isn't really enough to draw conclusions. It's possible your experience is the same as many others, and definitely worth researching. But sometimes we forget that anytime we have a product that has issues.... When you're dealing with a sample size of one you could always be an outlier.
