I like the new scoreboard and UI in general looks like the older games. Also Rob Thomson looks like he’s 35 hahah
Too bad that's not the actual scoreboard in the park that currently exists lol. They debuted the new scoreboard officially yesterday (even though they have been showing pics of the work for months). And it looks absolutely nothing like that.
@@DaMadManPerson I meant the scoreboard in the bottom right corner of the game. Hopefully that stays the same
Ive absolutely had it with Madden and The Show being exactly the same every year. Using the same exact game engine as on PS3. Absurd. Won't waste my money
no, the PS3 versions were much better than this engine. This is the inferior PS4 engine actually...
That’s why they have to make it exclusive for PS5 or xBox series XS or even PC, bc as long as they allow it to be playable on PS4 they will use the same game engine. It still plays well but the immersion and the lack of upgrades is annoying. Madden is just plain old trash.
@@scottcarroll1913 Couldn't agree more. Continuing to release these games on the older generation of consoles is hurting the product. I spent $500 on a PS5 so I could actually utilize it, not play a game that also runs on a PS4. Next-gen console owners shouldn't have to suffer because of the broke jokes still on PS4.
These clowns won't see another cent from me until there is a noticeable improvement in the game. They can't even get uniforms accurate. Logo prints on jerseys/uniforms are either too big, or too small, or in the wrong spot.
I'm a huge Phillies fan....their uniforms have been inaccurate for over a decade. The jersey numbers are too low on the back, and the name print up top is too small. It's unbelievable to me that here we are in 2023 and they can't even properly recreate uniforms with total accuracy.

@@rgk99 it looks nothing like that. They used early mockups in modeling the stadium for the show 23.
They said they were going to update that and have it fixed within a week of launch.
@@DaMadManPerson Is it new one this coming season at the stadium? Or has it been new and SDS hasn’t ever updated it from the mock up?
@@rgk99 no. They added a new scoreboard at Citi field. But it looks nothing like this. SDS used the mockups. And it looks absolutely nothing like this.

98% of the game is just recycled from MLB the show 18. Absolute trash San Diego Studios. Baseball fans deserve for another development team to have the right to make a MLB simulation. EA sports did better than this crap in 2005.
Wish 2k had the license again. 2k7 and 2k8 baseball was nice
@@805oxnardsocal 2k today is not who they were back in 2007... and EA definitely aren't who they were in 2005. Most of that talent from back then have all moved on and today these companies are both average at best..
EA had far more classic stadiums, Tiger Stadium, Astrodome, Olympic Stadium are absolute essentials for any MLB sim that the Show is missing.
EA has single-handedly destroyed Madden, those developers who made good games back then aren’t around anymore my friend.
They need to make this game exclusive to the new gaming consoles. The graphics need major improvement. It hasn’t ventured into the Madden trash territory but it’s becoming more and more the same game with minimal upgrades. The Negro leagues is a cool upgrade, but how about Online franchise, how about more immersion, sounds of the show, rain outs, double headers, it needs an upgrade.
Same game as 22. Not need to buy 23.
But they added new bat/ball contact sounds which are actually worse than previous years!
I hope SDS feels ashamed for falling for that fake scoreboard rendering, and for STILL not updating the rest of the stadium since 2018.
