Hong Kong's film industry suffered during the Covid-19 pandemic, leaving people like production designer Gene Ma without much work. Stuck at home, Ma began recreating his favourite film sets as miniature models as a way to stimulate his creativity. The re-creations are so well done, his work will be featured at an exhibition in the UK.

This is a great thing to do during a Pandemic. I made a realistic Mini Bowling Alley since 2018 and when the Pandemic hits, I'm happy I can play on it and made renovations on it while my real local Bowling Alley was shut down for literally 2 Years straight until it reopened last year on March 30th. Til this day I still have it and I'm completely done renovating it, I only need is to keep the Pinsetters maintain cause just like its real life counterpart, they like to fall apart lol
No matter what your passion is in life, do it well and your work will be appreciated.
