- This is the concert Judas Priest played in Japan in 2019. I remastered it, so the guitars are easier to hear now. Two songs are missing: Turbo Lover and No Surrender - but I assure you that the performances weren't great, so it's not a big disadvantage.

The reason why I uploaded this bootleg is that Firepower Tour was really amazing, but sadly it seems that there are no plans for releasing an official live album to document that amazing era. Fortunately, some time ago I found this bootleg on some blog. I decided to remaster it and let the Priest family enjoy it.

What a terrific performance and terrific set list! I though it would not be a good idea to make a live album without the presence of Glenn, yet they're so excellent it should be documented properly.

Great set list. I seen this tour in Albany NY in May of last year. I love how they dusted off and played some of their older stuff that isn't as popular

He really did. I witnessed his performance in 2018 in Pilsen CZ and I was amazed. I expected a tired old man, but man...his Saints in Hell version was utterly amazing reaching the original one. Btw Rob sounds totally amazing here in this vid!

What 2 songs were took out
Turbo Lover and No Surrender. I wasn't satisfied with the final mix of Turbo Lover, and in No Surrender Rob's vocals weren't really good. Now I remember that for the same reason I also excluded Painkiller.

No Surrender is not missed. I'm surprised it made the set list, it wasn't a good choice for a live track IMHO. It wasn't great when I saw them play it.

@@zach7948 Painkiller definitely, but I think they'll always do Victim of Changes. In my opinion, its the better written song all around anyway. I love Painkiller, its so heavy and thrashy, Victim on the other hand is an emotional assault of Metal power

Yes. They toured with AC/DC in 1979 and with Motorhead in 1991.

I wasn't satisfied with Rob's vocals in Painkiller, so I cut the song out.
@@jakubmarszaek5918 understandable. That song is always very hit or miss due to how demanding it is, not to mention being pretty for into the touring cycle at the point this was performed.
@@MrMonkeyCommander True. Also, I want to press the recording on CD (for personal use) and with Painkiller it would be too long for a single CD, so I had to exclude a few songs. Painkiller appears on a bunch of official Priest live albums, so I don't feel guilty ;)

Went to this tour in Vegas. Worst set list ever....how can you leave out "You've Got Another Thing Comin'"" 🤬

It only bothers me when he messes with the original solos. His original stuff sounds cool, specially in Firepower IMO
