    UNLESS TRAFFIC IS STOPPED ON THE HIGHWAY, DON'T EVER, NEVER STOP ON AN ACCELERATION LANE. When merging onto a freeway or interstate, you must TOTALLY commit. There is absolutely NO stopping on the acceleration lane. Put your left signal on the on-ramp. As soon as the on-ramp straightens out, get your foot right into the gas pedal and build as much speed as you can before merging out onto the highway. Match the speed of the traffic on the highway. And when you put your signal on, pick you spot on the highway. Aim for that spot and you will merge perfectly every time. Merging onto a freeway is like taking off in a plane: you cannot abort.
    Good luck on your road test.

      Nothing to be scared about. If you have your signal on (extremely important) and traveling the highway speed, the car coming up behind you will see you and either slow down to allow you to merge or change lanes. Nobody wants to get into a collision.

    I say confidence is a big thing during driving. Just merge I can't stand when people merge slow just fucking go, your more likely going to get into an accident because your merging slow and get scared. Just merge your car majority of people are going to let you merge. Some people don't I've had a couple insistence where they wouldn't let me merge. But sometimes when it's moving slow I just put my car in there lane I'm coming over like it or not I turned my blinker on letting you know I need to get over so let me over. People just need to learn how to drive be respectful of other drivers, and we gain up on the drivers on the road and bully them. Did that once to with another vehicle asshole trying to drive on the shoulder in a construction zone 🙄 you better wait in line like the rest of this!

    Kind of PO'd right now because of how much I hate drivers who won't let you safely merge in front of them all because you're driving a heavier/slower vehicle. • @polar_dog1

    • @lostmotion18
      @lostmotion18 Před 8 měsíci

      It was a 3 lane highway that merged into 2 lanes. Idgaf if you're legally not required to let another vehicle merge in front of you. There's such a thing called common courtesy. The driver in the other vehicle was not cooperating with the flow of traffic. Coming to a complete stop, and waiting to merge, WHILE I WAS ALREADY ON THE HIGHWAY would have caused further traffic jam. Definitely brought the ugly side of me out and I would have fought my way to the death to prove that that was not my fault.

    hi I had a couple of questions regarding Ontario drive test rules if somebody could answer I will really appreciate it, so I know you are allowed to reschedule the test 3 times in a 6 month period, so if you pay the road test fees again are you allowed to schedule more times or is it three in total, secondly, if you fail a test does it reset or if you fail three times you just have to wait 6 months before you can make another attempt at it, thirdly if your test cancels due to bad weather and you have to book it again does that count as a switch, so I failed my first attempt in Windsor, I rescheduled it for windsor again ,but then I changed it to Burlington, I changed it to Chatham after that the test got cancelled due to bad weather so I scheduled again in Windsor do I have another switch left or am I done

    Yeah there’s this one merge you have to go through from my home town to the city where I go to university so whenever I have to go home and then comeback to university I fucking hate the merge since the acceleration lane is so short, literally everyone I’ve talked to hate it, and I can imagine if the acceleration lane was longer like some other ones most people would be fine merging there but it’s horrible even as someone who is somewhat confident in driving.
