If you do the coyote engine you gotta cut the shock towers out and put a mustang ll suspension kit with coil overs curing and welding involved. I hear some guys notched the shock towers not sure the year

will be more then just the engine, you will have fab work on the car, shock tower deletes, reinforcement of the frame to handle the strut braces being gone and what ever rust they find while in there. Mustangs always have rust. Time for a restoration. good luck, enjoy the vids

It’s crazy to see how the motors have developed over the years my 1994 lightning has a 5.8W and it’s nothing compared to the newer ones

so youre going to wind up fixing the gas leak when youre filling up before you do the engine swap, right? I feel it would just be simpler doing it in that order since then you wouldn't have to worry about any leakage after you swap and you would wind up filling your tank more

You could get a 3V for pretty cheap these days. Probably far less than a Coyote...But if your going to do a full engine swap, and you have to do all the surgery to fit either 3V or Coyote..may as well do a Coyote. I love the old school 428 idea as well
Godzilla 7.3L Pushrod engine. Compact and lots of potential, but it's only new so there may not be a lot of aftermarket development. I saw a Whipple supercharger being installed on one in CZcams video.

I think a 3v would be a pretty good option considering it sounds like the older muscle cars with the reliability of a more modern engine
347 stroker would be plenty of power for that car... keep it oldschool dude.
Or a Ford Racing: 363(4.125 x 3.400), 351 windsor alluminum block(428 cu.in. or 4.125 x 4.000), cast iron block coyote (95mm × 99mm) are some alternitive options.

did have 1966 Fastback with boss 302 built to 368 with 16 to one piston the cam 2.25 lift intake 1.75 lift out my tire was in the front 18 wide rear 22 wide

No need for a mod motor..... you got a new mod built motor. You can’t beat the idle of a push rod motor. Put a 347 stroker in and be done with it

Should do a 351w. Other youtuber (justin91lx) has a foxbody that’s making 600+ to the wheels on factory internals with a turbo going trough a 6r80.

Does the 68 have subframe connectors? If not ide go with full lengths sub frames
they do have sub frame connectors
No subframe connectors,the mustang will come apart,had one in the shop,for arace yes, but not on a street car
@@dogsense3773 I have subframes on my 67. Cars felt better ever since with no issues. 408 stroker supercharged.
