Prabhas character is similar to Karna from Mahabharata. He knows he is the rightful heir but he sacrifices it for his friend and goes against his own people for that.
Prabhas knows that Jagapati babu ordered to kill all the Shauryangas. In the beginning when young varada saves prabhas’s mom the character whom he gives the kadiyam too clearly says that it was his dad’s orders.
Salaar is much better than KGF 2. Story and character development are much better.

Khanshar is like a another small country next to india like SriLanka… every country has cities and villages etc…it is like greater Hyderabad. Hyderabad has all kind of people and areas.. salaar has a better background score compared to kgf's. salaar music is not on the nose everytime. you watch it multiple times and focus on music it will be addictive. salaar is made so much better comparatively to kgf's.

Though I liked the movie overall, still think the movie was half baked. It did not deserve to be an entire movie. Each part of a trilogy or multipart movie should be able to stand on its own, the story contained within it. The next part should be an extension of the previous story - not that the entire 1st movie is just to establish the 2nd one. KGF did this perfectly, but best example is the dark knight trilogy.

Directly watched this movie on OTT. I could not connect to this Kansaar world at all. It just felt too over the top. The only character that felt balanced was Prithviraj. If Prabhas was underacting then other characters were over acting. Prabhas cutout did stand out but I still feel he is not at his peak as he was in Bahubali. I also felt his hairstyle in lot of scenes was very similar to Kalki 2898 AD. May be he was doing these movies parallelly.
it will be lacklusture if it is less. for me the canvas is epic
