- Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate in a press conference at Congress party office in Delhi mentioned some concerning statistics about India’s unemployment, hunger issues & widening wealth inequality before the launch of annual budget which will be tabled by the Finance Minister of India Nirmala Sitharaman on July 23. Shrinate mentions that these issues should be considered on priority by the Finance Minister.

This is a dire straits situation we r facing now... the country is reeling under immense price rise, unemployment, crumbling infrastructure and so on but the current govt doesn't seem to really care ... this is shocking 😲
Shrinate and Mahua Moitra are very powerful ladies. We need atleast a dozen of these fearless ladies in Parliament to counter the hate politics and uphold the democratic values. We salute these ladies.

Food prices should come down... Increase prices of anything but not food.. Don't want people to starve in a country like India... Vegetables, Meat, Fish, Fruits, Food Grains...
Garlic is 300 rupees, Ginger is 250, Tomato is 100..
Won't dare to buy at such high prices..
It looks like govt has intentionally ignored common people's problems and issues especially by hiking prices of vegetables, fruits, dairy products. Whatever we say has no effect on them.
So citizens wake up. It's not only about religion religion and more religion. It's about survival and decent life. It's about the future of our children who deserve a good education and jobs.

With regard to price rise, the poor have stopped consuming vegetable, the middle class have reduced consumption of vegetable.
The only group that is not affected by price rise: MLAs, MPs, Ministers in the State and Central governments, the upper middle class, and the upper class.
