    I love these obscure titles … they are all part of our collective
    History as collectors. Your archives are the most incredible sight I have ever seen. So grateful to you for sharing and making videos for us collectors that live far away.

    Mr. Rozanski, your tour of the "store" was phenomenal. I am so glad that someone shares my passion to document comic history and not just make a buck. Well done!

    Absolutely unbelievable what he has built. I'm not sure what the end game is for growing for growing's sake, but he has amassed an incredible inventory. I used to frequent his stores when I lived in Aurora and Golden back in the 80's and even remember making one of my first back issue purchases from Mile High through a comic book ad in the late 70's. As much as I appreciate what he's done and currently does, it's a shame that his prices are so far above the norm that even a 60% "sale" doesn't prompt me to move on his books. The last time I bought something from Mile High was at the Mega Store a couple years back when I took my boys on a vacation to Colorado and I just had to show them this massive warehouse. We purchased a couple of graphic novels at face value and a few dollar bin comic books. I find it amazing that he says he's not in it for the money when you consider what he's doing with these Mile High Exclusive Covers on the Star Wars comics. That's purely a money grab that at face value has nothing to do with the "primary mission". Having said that, there is something to be said that to fulfill the primary mission, you have to have capital. I respect what he's built and the amount of toil its taken to do it, not only with his comics, but also his farming and native american antiquities. I will always have fond memories of Mile High comics from my days in Colorado and shortly thereafter. He's an American Icon (for the comic book industry) and more power too him.

    I really like Chuck's attitude and the way he approaches everything. I hope I'll be able to visit Mile High Comics one day, it would be a great experience.

    Thanks for the inside scoop. Having seen this, it just occurred to me that if I could only do one thing in life, it would be to be the Chuck Rozanski/Mile High Comics of toys.

    Your philosophy reminds me of a question I came across once in my own research and study. "What would you do if money were no object for you". To which my answer was. I would learn and study everything I possibly could. Becoming knowledgeable in all things by the end of my life.
    if I were to visit your store. I definitely would be checking out the obscure section. In my own modest collecting. I always seem to be drawn to the oddball comics.

    The Man, The Myth, The Legacy. I have a passion for comic books, especially the Uncanny X-Men. My long term goal is to collect the X-Men (1963) #1-544! I have met some of the most incredible Milehighcomics Staff to grace the earth. The staff doesn't get Nearly the props they deserve. I work there when I can for credit in my spare time. THANK YOU Chuck!

    I have been a mile high comics ‘nice’ member (is that a term still used?) since I moved to Denver in 2001. I have to say that I’ve enjoyed the e-mail updates from you Chuck and more recently the e-mail communication I have with your Glendale store. It’s super helpful in pre-ordering the books I’d like and also for getting to know everyone on a personal level. I’ll be looking forward to future instalments Chuck. I dig the way you do business.

    Instead of the actor Benicio Del Toro, to play as the Collector in Guardians of the Galaxy, it should have been this gentleman.

    I'm curious about something: Chuck is about 62 or 63 years old, which is still young (By my standards) but does he have a plan to have Mile High Comics carry on after his death?

    • @robertt9342
      @robertt9342 Před 3 lety

      I'd don't get that impression. He talks about other retailers as if they have different goals then him, which they do. He has expressed in the past that due to some good fortune he has managed to be able to create a life where selling isn't the top priority, but that wasn't always the case.
