The dark drink symbolizes toxicity. Or a toxic relationship that she willingly gets into. Like she knows the relationship probably isn’t good for her..which is why she hesitates to drink at first. Just stares at the glass for a while. Then slowly she picks it up..and finally drinks it..and that toxicity just comes pouring out of her. She got the idea for this video from a fan drawing of her crying dark liquid. She came up with how she wanted the video shot..from what angle and everything.
See now that’s dope. I’m ashamed at my self that I didn’t put it together thank u 🙏🏼
This is absolutely one of my favorite Billie songs/videos. That visual of her with the dark liquid pouring out of her eyes is iconic.
