Never understood the issue w the host. I’m not a fan of Tyra but she doesn’t talk that much. If one person takes you away from something you enjoy maybe that’s an issue.
The biggest mistake DWTS made was to bring Tyra Banks on as the new host. She made the show absolutely unwatchable. She's just off!!! Nothing about her is right in that role. She never knows how to act or what to say. I stopped watching during seasons 29 & 30. But adding Alfonso Rebeiro as co-host during season 31 has made it a little more watchable for me. I just mute the TV when Tyra's mouth is moving.
Earliest perfect scores: Juan Pablo should be there, he got a perfect score for his Week 3 Samba. Also, this is just a technical thing, Janel performed before Bethany so she could be shown first. Highest-scored premiere dance: Alfonso wasn't the only contestant to get all 9s for his first dance; Kristi Yamaguchi, Amber Riley and Charlie White each received all 9s in their first dances too.
@@ferkessler8869 She got her perfect score in Week 4; that used to be the earliest perfect score and in season 8, Gilles Marini later tied with his Week 4 Argentine Tango receiving a perfect score. Janel and Bethany both broke the record with their dances in Week 3 of season 19 and Juan Pablo later tied with his Week 3 perfect scoring Samba.
I always thought that was a bit unfair! Meryl won the Olympic Gold Medal in Ice Dancing! She had years of dance training. She was no amateur at dancing!

Bindi Irwin was in my opinion one of the best dancers on the show. That freestyle they did gives me goosebumps everytime ❤️

She’s so brave I think that’s what made it incredible and emotional to watch, to see her dad after getting through that dance, no wonder
