Thank you for the review, cousin. Looks like it would also supply company with a nice place to sleep when they visit!
My boyfriend and I spoke about you today. I'm going to get a passport and, God willing, be able to visit Ireland one day.
Keep up the great work! As always, thank you for sharing
    Lots of love your way

      Thanks very much.
Ye it's a pretty good wee mat inside or out.
A passport is a good thing to have, opens up possibilities to visit different countries, experience different cultures and ways of living etc.
Ireland definitely has its good points, an expansive and varied coastline being one of them.
Thanks for watching as always 🌲☺️🌲

I enjoy the reviews on equipment. Short and to the point. In the old days (and I mean old) I could sleep on any surface, including a concrete floor with just a folded blanket underneath. Now days I would have to find a
" back-packable recliner" to take to the field for overnighters.

A back-packable recliner, now I could do with one of those 😁, sleeping on the ground sure doesn't get any easier with age that's for sure.
Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment Brandt 🌲😊🌲

I love a wee LIDL bargain....I got one of their Pocket Knives a few months back and love it. Was tempted to test out their hammock, even though I already have a couple 😂

I know what you mean, It's hard to resist the temptation sometimes 😂
For the most part their camping gear is good quality for the cost.
      Thanks for the comment 🌲😊🌲

Is it better than foam sleeping pad? We still have those in Finnish Lidl.

    • @MulhavenBushcraft
      @MulhavenBushcraft  Před 11 měsíci +1

If you mean the plain foam sleeping mats then I would say yeah it's definitely better than those. It's certainly more comfortable anyway.
The plain foam pads are cheaper, and more dependable (can't get punctured), they just aren't as comfortable, but for sure they are better than nothing!
A good combination is using a foam pad under this lightweight inflatable one. Makes it even comfier, and provides some additional protection from cold and punctures.
      I hope this helps.
      Thanks for watching 🌲 😊🌲

@@MulhavenBushcraft Thank you friend. I will consider this. I also saw a sleeping bag for cold weathers in Lidl, might consider buying it too, have you tried it too? By the way do you like a tent or a tarp setup more? Tents have condensation problems.

    • @MulhavenBushcraft
      @MulhavenBushcraft  Před 11 měsíci +2

@@sergeyloverow2105 the sleeping bag in Lidl I'm not sure about, I haven't tried it. A good sleeping bag is worth the money I think, a good nights sleep means the difference between a bad or a great trip. The Lidl bag could be good though, especially if it's a cold weather one!
      As for tents Vs tarps
I like the handiness, speed, simplicity, and lightweight of tarps.
However, I don't like waking up with a slug crawling on my face though 😂(which happened recently!)
I have a good double skin 2 man dome style tent that I got in Lidl about 3-4 years ago. Best tent I've ever owned.
No major problems with condensation at all. Slower to get up and down, and heavier than tarps but keeps the bugs and draughts out.
Both have their pros and cons.
For myself I like both in different ways.
I alternate between them as I feel like it to be honest.
Long answer but I hope that makes sense/ is helpful.

Does it provide any thermal insulation or its just air?

    • @MulhavenBushcraft

      Just air for this mattress.
Additional insulation would be required for winter/ cold ground camping.
