@@dra2033 accusing a Black woman (who is also a radical feminist) who had accused her of racism of "playing the race card" doesn't make her seem particularly anti-racist. I don't think it's particularly credible to suggest that Lorde set out to disparage Daly for personal gain considering her open letter to Daly is only a small part of her very broad body of work, a part which didn't have much to do with Lorde's career successes.
@@dra2033 it didn't really advance Lorde's career to criticise Daly and it's not a major lie to say that Daly did not publicly address Lorde's criticism in Lorde's lifetime. Daly didn't even remember this letter, and responding privately is not the same as responding publicly to an open letter.
