“You Won’t Get My Support!” James Max Clashes With RMT Union Boss Mick Lynch Over Rail Strikes

  • TalkTV’s James Max has clashed with the Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union general secretary Mick Lynch over the rail strikes.
RMT members employed by train operators across England walked out in a long-running dispute over jobs, pay and conditions.
Train services have been disrupted by the action, which comes almost a year after the RMT held its first strike in the same dispute.
James tells Mick that he “won’t be supporting” strike action by rail workers.
“If your members were prepared to change and adapt with technology, great.”
Mick replies: “We are prepared. We’re not riding round on steam trains.”
