- I can ride as fast as I want to (Usually 35mph) right up until the battery is gone (50+ miles). Pretty Amazing, but my wheel has developed a knocking sound on the right side that I will have to investigate.
I got the Lynx from Ewheels in USA- www.ewheels.com/product/veter...

I was looking into the Veteran Patton, the Begode Extreme, and the Inmotion V14 Adventure. I kept telling myself the Lynx was just too over the top for me at this point. I kept coming back to it though and finally bit the bullet, reserving one of the batch 2 versions. It's a ton of money for an EUC, but you look like you're having a blast on it! Can't wait to get mine and thanks for sharing!
Thank you. Yes, I was scared of it at first because of the hype. I don't have a lot of experience with bigger wheels.
Let me tell you it's a breeze! It has tons of power when you want it, but it's easy to control, smooth as butter, and everything you want when you want it.
It doesn't feel heavy at all, and the only time I get wobbles was during braking, but I soon got a grip on that pretty easy. It hasn't ever gotten scary, or out of control. Super easy to work on too. I got a rock stuck in mine, and had to take the battery packs off. Took em off and back together in one afternoon.
@jerrygray3 That's great to hear too! Sounds like the other Leaperkim models aren't as easy to work on as the Lynx, so I'm looking forward to that as well. Can I ask what lb spring you went for? I'm about 195lbs and was thinking the 66lb spring, but a couple of riders close to my weight even mentioned they liked the 62lb spring.
@tlgrimmy I have the 62lb. I'm about 175lbs. It's never bottomed out.
@@oueuc2 Perfect, thanks again!
The more headroom you got, the less likely you’ll overpower the wheel
Love it
Thanks!
The technology is looking great!
i gotta hear that song again - i have a lynks, havent written it yet, to cold - later
Congrats! I hope you love it, and it does you right!
great riding bro keep it up. pretty country side too
Thank yo!
I'm getting one for me and my lady, we live in ft Smith
Heck yeah. They've changed my life for the better. Just rode 33 miles and I feel great!
Lol at 7:00. Dumb dogs. They were keeping up for a minute tho.
Yeah. They bit me once on the v12.
I actually have that clicking sound, not the knocking sound....
sounds like something knocks in the motor
Yeah, I was told the shims on the bearings might be too thin.
I have to take it back apart, and locktite the bearing to the shaft. Just my luck.
I have the same knocking sound (mentioned in WrongWay's video at about 44min). I took apart both sides and all the bolts were tight, seems like its something internal to the shock.
Ewheels told me it could be the bearing sliding on the shaft, and to put locktite on it, but I saw the battery box, and didn't go that far.
Update, you're right. I have to take it apart again. I was told the shims on either side of the bearings were too narrow, and to locktite it to the shaft. We'll see.
@@oueuc2Ah I see, I didn't take it apart that far. Let me know if that fixes the noise, mine seems to have stopped getting worse.
Just emailed eWheels and bought some loctite. Hope to fix this as the motor now rubs the battery case under hard cornering and the paint is coming off
It didn't fix it for me. I had to send it in, so they can add the spacers. I'm not doing it again while it's under warranty.
It's not ewheels fault, but Leaperkim's.
