As noob in 3D program, I love that it always starts with the donut
It’s called a hello donut 🍩
we have blender guru to thank for that
I did the first donut tutorial and recently did the fourth one too XD
@@callumfinaughty6779 my gosh...that is some mental obstacle
I started with a knife
It seems the donut is the equivalent of the programmer's " Hello world " ... But for 3d artists
Indeed it is lol
I started with a face
yea it is do you know the exact reason for it? or this might be just like hello world where people just followed it in practice?
Well "Hello World" is really A basic execute of a programming code But its a start for more complex learning on how to add more function into a simple code for easily and stylist interactable. Just like the donut, its very easy we just add simple shape and then add more complex design, etc. to make it pleasing to our eyes the way how it becomes beautiful and satisfied to look at every design.
@@SussyBaka-pl7mu it is the Beginner Tutorial for people learning Blender, not for 3D artists in general. It's because of a guy whos CZcams Channel is named blenderguru. He does for every full step Blender version a new Donut tutorial playlist as beginner lessons.
Damn. Today is my day 1. I got half way through the donut tutorial.
if it makes you feel any better, it took me a week to do it
@@YoureMadBozo71 It does a little. I am now finished and have the final render at 500 samples. Time to do a million other tutorials until I learn how to use Blender on my own.
Alright man, best of luck.
do cross mind studios beginner course, its such a good course@@Fearless13468
It's almost been a month now and I still haven't finished it, been busy with school lately, but I hope to be able to finish it today.
i love that everyone is starting with the donut. for me it is day 2 of using blender and im about halfway through the donut process. Seeing this made me realise how much progress i can potentially make and im actually looking forward to it. this is really some great stuff, well done!!!
Thanks man. Good luck on your journey
Am I weird that my first project(3 weeks ago) was a suchi blender tutorial by polygon and not the donut animation which I'm currently on pt7
How can you see this stuff and not think "wow, that accomplishment is actually wild". Either way, keep the good work up man, i hope you succeed in what you are planning on doing in the future!
Thanks a lot gee ❤️
You've certainly made some very impressive progress in a single year. Keep at it!
Thanks, will do!
i started today, finished the donut and added my touch to it and made an ocean scene also added my touch to it, ngl after seeing many people’s comments i feel like i’m learning way too fast, and videos like this really inspires me
Keep going buddy… it’s a plus that you have a natural feel for it
I started learning bender in the beginning of this year and I've almost finished my first donut animation almost a month later. I look forward to what I will do later this year.
Amazing things for sure
Congrats on your progress!
Today is my 2 day of making donut. I only have few hours to spend since i can't abandon my study. Seeing this makes me realize what will be my progression after 1 year. You inspired me, man!
Keep going at your own pace man. Good luck
Thank you for this video. it was a great inspiration! I am just getting started and you gave me new energy.
You got this!
You're awesome 🥰 love the dedication!! subbed!!
Thanks Lisha
I love it when people put practice into what they aspire to be, and achieve it. This is inspiring to us all. Please don't stop pushing your limits, and keep on sharing!
Thanks a lot for this brother. Really needed it. God bless 🙏
This is perfect, an absolute perfection down to the minute detail of it.
Appreciate this buddy
Very cool seeing your progression. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching!
I am just mesmerised the artistic expression in this is ❤️
Thanks alot
This gives me hope, makes me think that i can learn and reach this level as well. Thank you for putting your work out, keep working hard.
Thanks 🙏. Glad it helped
Impressive. Well done.
Thanks for this
started with the donut today, thanks for the motivation buddy
Good luck on your journey buddy
bro as my first week on learning blender, i am astonished by the multiple universes and concepts that you can bring to reality, by the half of it i paused and just stared at some of your works, keep up man great work
Thanks a lot man, good luck on your journey
I started off with the famous donut as well and soon realized 3D modeling is easy. The hard part is ironically the rendering. Having the money for a good rig and a pen tablet lol. After that the possibilities are endless.
Facts. Sculpting is also another difficult skill to master
Wow
This is an inspiration for me
You have come a long way in just a year, keep it up and congrats on your journey so far!!
Thanks buddy ❤️
I just started learning blender yesterday and this inspires me a lot. Thanks for great video.
Good luck on your journey buddy, thanks 🙏
Amazing Progress!
Thanks gee
This is the motivation we need to keep learning.
I started studying Blender, and I was wondering what was possible to do with this software. I'm passionate about illustrations, I hope to continue and not give up in the middle of the process.
Your journey was beautiful, your works are wonderful, congratulations!!
Thanks a lot Mathew. If you get exhausted along the way, do not give up but take a break if you need to.
Well Done!!!
This is amazing
I started my journey this month. See you next year. Man you inspired me a lot!
See you next year man 🔥🔥
beautiful work man!
Thanks 🙏
U mastered it congratulations 🎉
Not mastered, still learning everyday
super inspiring, im just starting out n hope to be like this
You'll be more than this
You are amazing very excellent works wow ❤❤❤
Thank you very much!
I did a car animation in 2 days actually but it was pretty hard! even though i downloaded the models! great work bro keep it up
This is really good stuff!
Thanks ❤️
Good job man !!
Thanks
i started learning blender this year and finish my first donut animation and you inspired me thanks
Happy to see this, let’s keep getting better gee 🫂🔥
You worked hard man🎉
Thanks gee. We go harder
Amazing work Brother!! Imma beginner too n it's really inspiring to watch this progress video
Thanks gee… Good luck
very inspiring !
Glad it was
This is cool!
Thanks 🙏
sick bro
Awesome, I'm starting out just now, making the donut. Hoping I can make progress like yours!
If you keep it up you’d make even more progress than myself
It looks like you always try something new. Wish you pation and motivation to make more
Thank you, I will
great!
Really sick dude
Thanks Xav
I started with the Donut yesterday. Lets see where this goes. Loved your montage!
Thanks buddy. Good luck on your journey
I love designs and beautiful UIs and all, can look at them for hours, it’s just that I have no creativity when it comes to blank canvas and it sucks
Gotta say this kinda just made me feel bad. I’ve also been doing blender for a year, I haven’t produced anything nearly this good
To be honest I felt the same when I posted this cause I compared it to the contents of other artist here on CZcams. Your life and schedule is different from mine gee. Your 1 year is different from mine 🫂
Don’t feel so bad he is good sure but I think he used many premade assets
if thats true then i def feel better lol@@nikz000
Indeed 👌
Yall both have different things going on in life, you probably just had less time in blender then him
i love ur work man, hope ur channel have more subs
I appreciate that thanks
The military guy break dancing was awesome
You can search breakdance animation on mixamo and just assign a character you like. Then download and import to blender 👌
@@DigiStudio3D thanks that's very good to know I'ma look into it. I just started blender a week ago
I started with donut & now i do Interior design & archviz. Comfortable with blender & doing small freelance works. But i have a regret i never completed the donut. I always stopped in the middle of modeling.
I never modeled another donut after completing the one I did lol. Never went back to it
lol...just working on my first donut. Nice video man.
Thanks buddy, good luck 🙏
Other than YT tutorials, what else did you use to learn? Really trying to be on your level so i'm trying to practice or do a tutorial at least 1 hour a day if not longer and then some small projects w/o help to help reinforce what I've learned. Just made a light saber that was okay for someone 2 weeks into blender i'd think.
That’s not bad at all.. but tutorials were all I used to learn. Then a lot of experimenting and practice time
Awesome stuff!
Did just practice like an hour every day or so or was blender something you were doing for hours each day?
Hours each day. Didn’t have a time table for using it. Just gave it as much free time as I had.
Hi man I really like your content, and I was wondering, how many hours a day did you spend learning Blender and did you make notes?
Depending on how free I was for that day… could be between 2 to 4 hrs sometimes 6 hrs…
I never took notes, I just saved videos on CZcams instead so I could go back to them if I forget anything
You inspired me nice work:()
Thanks a lot
Wow
Damn that Porsche is sick af
You can get the Porsche and other cars like that on cgtrader
which youtube channels did you followed throughout your journey? btw great progress keep it up man ❤

There are many others but these are the 5 I keep going back to
amazing progression. on avg how much time(hrs) did you spent on blender?
Anywhere from 2 hours to 6 hours a day
I've downloaded blender a year ago and just yesterday i got all serious with it and im now more invested to developing my skills in blender. Blender Guru really taught us alot huh.
Good luck on your journey buddy. Rooting for you
Wow, beautiful. Hopefully, one day, I'll be able to do that. im in the middle of the donut tutorial 😅
Keep going buddy 🤝
Wow that is very inspiring. ❤
By the way, I just started blender and learning donuts and I have a dream to animate cars and make short movies on blender. Any suggestions to this newbie about how should someone set his/her journey after making the donut?
Since your goal is car animation and short films.
Learn scene composition.
Lighting.
Animation.
You could get car models online so no you can skip car model unless you really want to.
Learn texturing so you can adjust textures to be more realistic and accurate.
Learn environments.
@@DigiStudio3D thank you for your response. I will try to work on this as you said. 🫡
I'm learning now how to make a donut 🤣 I hope to get to where you have arrived
You’ll get there for sure 🔥🔥
Bro which tutorial is the best
Bro im such a beginner at art that it kind of infuriates me that you can genuinely start using an app for the very first time and a few months later be like “eh, it’s a photo realistic model of the entire universe. Not much”
I felt this frustration when I first saw a 3d reel on CZcams. Called my dad and asked how it was possible that some people had gotten to such level.
thats crazy man ❤🔥. Can you tell what spec laptop/pc were you using before and what spec laptop are u using now ?
Was using a hp pc…
No dedicated graphics card… only a 2gb integrated Intel graphics processor, Intel core i7 processor and 8GB ram
Now I use an AORUS laptop with Nvidia RTX 3060 4gb
Intel core i7
16gb of RAM
1 terabyte SSD
please sensei, raise me!
I'm new to 3d and started making a donut today. I'd love to make progress like you, this inspired me. I don't know if I'll be able to because of time. How much time did you spend learning in a day to progress this quick?
To progress quickly your time spent practicing and experimenting things will help more than time spent learning. Experiment a lot, try a lot of ideas. That way you’ll learn what works and what doesn’t then you’ll find your style
@@DigiStudio3D Ok thank you
im started blender this week after i give up on the donut by blender guru a few months back. now im again back to finish wat im started
Yeah I gave up on the donuts 3 times 😂😂
I hope you get more subscribers ❤
Thanks buddy
What are the best videos to start learning? Also, sick artworks

nice.
you deserve sub
Thanks gee
I just started 3days ago and tbh i m loving it but i m little bit scared as well
Same lol… It’s more of being intimidated before you start a new project, but it gets exciting along the way 🔥
Waw
As someone that started last week, I can confirm it was the donut.
Type shi 😂🔥
Simple question from a newbie to all this blender 3d scene. Like how should i progress I'm currently learning low poly modeling and donuts at the same time and I'm thinking of learning products modeling next should i go through this path or should i 1st create something of my own and master it then move to the next part?
No no do a some projects by seeing tutorials and when you feel confident and get the foundation rock hard strong then create your own project
@@beerusdestroyer4302 okk, thank you man
I agree with beerus. Do some projects following tutorials till you get confident. When you feel inspired to make something of your own don't hesitate to do so and hit up more tutorials if you get stuck creating on your own. Sorry, this reply is coming 2 weeks late buddy.
Wow Niceeeee!!!!
Thanks buddy
Where did you get the Porsche 3D scan? Online or done yourself with Polycam?
Online from CGTrader
Where you modeling all the humanoid shapes or where they downloaded assets?
Downloaded assets from mixamo and sketchfab. All I did was rig, pose and tweak textures
Hey , my 12th exams are over now i wanna pursue 3d animation as a career:3
Your video inspired me a lot❤️
Keep going,god bless you ❤️
It’ll get tough sometimes but let’s keep it at. Wish you the best buddy 🙏
@@DigiStudio3D thankyou 🫶🏻🌸
Bro the progress is crazy 🎉......hope you have some tutorials😅
I’ll make some 🙏
im trying to learn blender its my 1st day and i made a mistake and had to delete the donut. but i like how fast peopele learn
Just make sure you get back to it. I deleted the donut countless times when i was starting. Even deleted blender from frustration sometimes.
Hopefully not too personal of a question but what kind of job do you have right now? I've always dreamed of working in a game studio so I'm just curious.
Character design for projects and short animated adverts.
@@DigiStudio3D Thats awesome man. Just started on my blender journey and hope to get to your level someday. You got any tips for beginners like me?
Im new to blender and was wondering, are you using Cycles for the first few projects you made?
Because god damn it takes so long to render a simple fire effect
Yeah using cycles lol
I was even using an old laptop with no graphics card so sometimes I had to wait 6 hours for a single frame to render 😂
Did you make the car yourself?
No I got it from cgtrader for free
Delete cube at the start is the only skill i have in blender
You’ve completed 50% 🙏😂
Me who directly start from animating the Porche 😗
Sick 😂😂
At 1:13 how did you do that effect? Of the panels filling it.
You apply the “BUILD MODIFIER” to the object and it’ll animate the build up of that object.
Mad stuff 🔥
Thanks Ash
This is amazing, but how did you do it? I struggle with learning Blender.
I struggled a lot as-well and gave up multiple times while learning, but my desire to create the things in my head kept bringing me back to it.
Did you follow some kind of tutorials then? I follow some beginner cources but I think I'll get stuck searching for ones that'd help me improve further. What do u recommend? Thanks@@DigiStudio3D
What I do is, when I get stuck I search for specific tutorials on CZcams to help the current situation
really nice progression
Thanks ❤️
Hey,is higher framrate rendering be done in blender?
I believe you can go as high as 60fps
Do you make the Models? or you import them? like the car?
I make some.. but the characters and car is imported. I just rig and or animate.
How do you learn blender?
I completed the donut tutorial and a lot of others but still feel lost and stuck with that little cube.
The first step is to let your creativity flow…
1. Think “What would I like to create”.
2. Amongst the ideas you get, pick the least complicated.
3. Visualize how making it would be. Then start. If you can’t visualize then search for a CZcams video of how it’s made in blender.
4. If you do get stuck doing it on your own do not hesitate to try finding a video to help you.
5. Tackle creating your idea in steps
* Modeling
* Lighting
*Texturing
*Composition
*Rendering
@@DigiStudio3D thank you
I will try to follow you steps.
i am 7 mouths into my blender journey
Let’s keep going buddy. Wish you a beautiful journey 🔥
