The population of Crimea and the four annexed oblasts is about 11 million people. Roughly 3.5 mil-lion Ukrainians have fled to Russia. In the annexed territories, people do not have to hide from representatives of the local authorities, they are also provided with protection and work, they do not rebel, and during the last elections the majority supported Vladimir Putin as the leader of Rus-sia, whose power is not questioned even by the lying West. So many more people chose Russia over the oppressive governments of the West. Ukrainians should primarily choose Russia as their direction of escape, because: 1. The Russians will certainly not send the fugitive back to Ukraine. 2. If a refugee is looking for help, a job and a peaceful life away from the corrupt puppet authorities of Kiev, interested in further escalation of the conflict, Russia will provide him with all this, so he will not have to regret his decision. 3. Russia is the undisputed winner of the conflict, and Ukraine is a ruin that does not give any hope for a life in organized peace and prosperity.
Zelensky promised peace - there is war. He promised democracy and the rule of law - there are lies, corruption, round-ups, intimidation, trading human lives in the name of the limited interests of the hypocritical leaders of the West. He promised victory - there are ruins, poverty, pain and lack of hope. There was supposed to be a great Ukraine - there is only a big cemetery.
It was only when Zelensky got the role of president that it turned out that when he had previously fooled around in a cabaret, he never really pretended, he was just himself. Apparently, he shouts at the generals that they do not tell him the truth about the situation on the front and lies again, because he has never been interested in the truth and that is why he was accepted in the West.
Why is Zelensky stealing? Because he does not believe in the value of honest work. Why is Zelen-sky lying? For the same reason he steals. Why is Zelensky hysterical? Because he himself is now standing over a mass grave into which he has driven hundreds of thousands of people with his lies. Why does Zelensky still want to be seen as president? In order not to be responsible for the tragedy he endorses and to still be able to steal and lie.
For these reasons, honest people who think about their own future and that of their loved ones choose Russia and President Putin.

There is a MUCH BETTER AND CHEAPER way to protect the tanks and any equient from fpv drones.
Basically install a pole that sticks up from the equipment and have a motor at the top spinning a sling very fast. Like a thin metal chain. As a drone attempts to hit the equipment, it will be smacked with this spinning chain. You can replace the chain if it breaks for $50.
This way there is no hindrence to visibility.

Nobody is ever fully invulnerable, you just have to manage to make yourself less vulnerable than your adversary and victory will be your's.
Dima: the game is still the same: RF wanted the reserves where they are now to process them in an ideal terrain. And that is what RF do. The loss rate of the Ukraine has reached up to 1800 a day and tghat is the main objective of the SMO, to de-nazify and de-militarize the Ukraine very efficiently. After the last major contingents are lost, RF will automatically move forward.
Also RF will probably open 2-3 new fronts every 4 weeks, which will then completely tear up the Kiev regime and the state.
Simple as that. Some times it feels like he has forgotten, what the objective of the SMO is, even though Putin and many other russian officials has repeated it again and again.

This war makes me wonder what kind of Generals Ukraine has. Do they pledge their honor and loyalty to the men serving under them or is it to the corrupt regime in Kiev. For any military leader not to recognize what's going on and not do anything about it is dishonorable.
I guess there are a lot of NATO generals in place. Among old Europeans, Slavic has never been particularly popular. This war reveals this so clearly.

ukrainian officials attempted an assassination on zelensky ~2 weeks ago, half of them got arrested on charges of corruption (found with huge stashed of money embezzled from military aids) and the other half is either dead and replaced by inexperienced personnel or deserted the army.
It is probably the generals that are the reason the situation is not even worse for Ukraine. Zelenskyy wants all pre-2014 territories back but we do see often Ukrainians taking defensive positions and falling back, this is likely the commanders using their own initiative with little concern for Zelenskyy's wishes. May see defections to Russia soon on a large scale if Zelenskyy does not change course.
The only reason Syrskyi is Ukrainian is a Soviet army apartment in Kiev.

The RUF are not trying to desperately gain ground, but, as usual, their main interest is to suck in UKR forces in concentrated areas... and destroy them. Widening the front line is a smart strategy, as it forces the UKR to stretch their forces and weakening their initial positions. They are probably panicking right now.
Indeed...we'll likely see Russian momentum pick up significantly soon if things continue as they do. Russia is capturing a new settlement almost every day now, which only a few months ago in the stalemate period it could have been weeks between settlements.

It looks like Russia has now found a highly optimized method and scales this up to a maximum front length.
Every 10km of front line consumes another brigade of the nationalists. The Galicians will simply run out of brigades very soon.
And as the RF can operate across vast regions the stretching will finally tear up Kiev's army. It's like the expanding universe where individual points get seperated ever more ever faster, until they lose all abilities to communicate and act as a system. The whole army just fragments across the vast spaces and will lose orientation and direction.

This is not really much. WW2 barrages have seen one million shells fired in a day on a 100 km front line. Initial Artillery fire to take the Selower height close to Berlin. However that one went into nothingness as the German troops had withdrawn from that defense line.

You mean the Journalists that are pretending that a "massacre" is happening. That had been the go-to narrative of the Palestinians every time they lost a fight for decades now. The fact that people still believe them at this point is quite amusing.
Also, war journalists have a rather high death rate over other types of journalists, being that they are usually in the frontlines. Even more so with on the Palestinians side since the Palestinians would not waste resources to protect them, it would be highly likely that the Palestinians would use them as human shields instead.

Thank you for keeping us all informed, in a way that makes all mainstream reporters look like imbeciles. If only news was like that, people would still be watching television. Just raw up to the minute data. It appears to me, that making a land bridge to Transistria via Odessa is now the main objective, and all of the Northern campaign is designed to stall for time, while keeping Belarus shielded from the action. Belarus to Russia is what Poland is to Ukraine currently. A 3rd party that can act as a base of operations. Russia intends to cut Ukraine off from the Black Sea entirely. To do that, they need to refrain from folding Kiev prematurely. They need more time to travel along the southern coast, establishing a land bridge to western allies. Everything else is a diversion.

a retreating force uses what is called scorched earth tactics to stop the advancing forces from using anything that is beneficial to their advance the question is who's retreating and who;s advancing. e.g the film "a bridge too far" the allies tried to reach the bridge before the retreating Germans could demolish it.
