So many of his lines are so fragile.
He is always changing his vocals. Like he knows very few can sing it. A puzzle.
I don't think I've ever heard that slightly off syncopated tap before... Love how during the end of the song you really let the guitar melody ring through.

What was your thought process regarding vocal mic choice?
Max Engelhardt good question! At the time I was running my looper/delay pedal in front of the mixer/preamp with an impedance matcher so I needed a dynamic and the SM57 was within arms reach 😆. Now I tend to run whatever mic I use to the board first and use Aux sends to incorporate stompboxes where I want them, then record the send path in addition to the dry track (probably the better method anyway tbh)
