@@ashleythomas4112 he meant the foul that ended up on a free kick for ghana, its in that free kick that suarez stops the ball with his hand and gets a red card.
Yeah, if you look at the foul that led to the freekick that then led to the Suarez handball, you can see that Fucile never touched the Ghana player. It was a clear dive. He was right to come towards the ref and argue the uruguayan way :)
Suarez may of been ejected, but it was worth it. He committed the smartest penalty foul in World Cup history.

I was 12 years old when I watched that game with my father. It was my first World Cup I ever watched, and I'll never forget the emotions I felt watching that game. I initially learned that real football is all about emotions and how amazing and bizarre a game can get in just 90 minutes.

What they don't tell you, and is almost always neglected, is the fact that the foul called on Fucile (the foul that led to that freeckick, which suarez used his hands) was a clear dive. Look at that replay. The player is not even close to Fucile, he just slipped. Most clear dive ever.

Idk why people hate Suarez for that handball, he took one for the team with almost 120 minutes on the clock if you see a shot like that you'll put everything you've got to stop it, even if it means putting a hand to it.
In all fairness Ghana got the penalty for that, Suarez was sent off Ghana missed and the game went into penalties which Uruguay won eventually.
If anything he was the smartest man on the pitch at that moment. He was selfless, a proper team man.
You can't hate him or blame him for Ghana's loss. Ghana lost it themselves.

I have thought about this and I think the biggest reason is because he ridiculously acted as if he didn't had no idea what happened when he saw the red card. Yes, Suarez was in the right because the ref was already helping Ghana with a gift freekick, but Suarez had to act a little more serious and talk to the ref and not act fake surprised because he was unintentionally allowing people to disrespect him like this.
Dude, if there is no handball, it is 100% chance to score a goal. Penalty doesn't have 100% goal chance
@@WALDENSOFTWARE Well you can say that but players always do that they make outright fouls on their counterparts and even concede a penalty and then act as if they didn't even know that it was a penalty.
Players in the past have done it, they're still doing it and will do so in future. Apart from a few who when make a foul and ref shows them a card or like gives the opponent a pen or a freekick don't protest coz they know that they made a foul that deserved the play to be stopped.
That's just the way it is man.
It's arguably one of the most exciting matches in the world cups history and those who hates Suarez by his handball, I congratulate him because, he was able to avoid his team's elimination. Besides what an Uruguayan team were despite the fact they were defeated by Netherlands in semi-finals.

I am fully behind Suarez stopping the ball with his hand; once he does that and Ghana get a penalty, Uruguay has a 10 percent chance of winning. If not, they are immediately out.
Beg to disagree. He clearly used dishonest/unfair means to give his team the advantage, but ironically, what many donât realize is that he was very lucky that Gyan bottled his shot. Had Gyanâs shot gone in, Uruguay would still have lost and Suarez would be branded the villain instead of the hero.

Imagine the same thing happens again in that match. where the game is tied and itâs the last minutes of the game and Ghana shoots a guaranteed goal to win that match and SUAREZ uses his hands once again to block that goal.
To make things worse Ghana needed to win that match to make it out of the group stage. And thanks to Suarez Ghanas run ends there
