Very good analysis of index funds. I have invested in icici sensex , nifty 50,HDFC sensex , nifty 50. Would have been better if you had given list of top 3 funds with ranking at the end of the video.I want to see similar analysis in small cap,midcap, large cap multi cap and flexi cap funds.

Are Alpha, Beta, Sharpe Ratio not important for Index Funds ?
Can you make video for Index fund or etf or Mutual fund for Defence sector, Semiconductor , Artificial Intelligence ?
Also which MF or group of funds for bulk investing for a span of 5-10 yrs?
index fund tries to copy the index and not outperform it
so for example, alpha means how much did the fund outperform the index
but as mentioned above index funds should not outperform the index but copy
so no point of alpha.
similarly there is no point of beta or sharp ratio
instead of that - wht is important is tracking error

Yes, UTI Nifty 50 index fund is one of the very first index funds. Has less tracking error and expense ratio. Also, no liquidity issue in case of redemption. May also consider Nifty 50 equal weight index.

Tracking error is calculated by comparing the performance of the fund with the index

We can only take an educated guess based on wht we currently know
if you belive in your investments, then you will be available to hold it for the long term and make good returns

To earn 3 to 5% STCG in strategic and sectrol index funds within 1 to 3 months is it good ? Because I am already doing last one year to get market Volatility benefits. Please reply. Very good explanation on index funds. Thanks n expecting more like this . I selected index funds where there is zero exit load n different AMC in same index ignored expenses ratio n tracking error n AUM also because to avoid averaging in single amc. And using switch out to liquid fund n again switch in to same index fund .
